Honey Rock Books & Cafe will provide an enjoyable bookstore and cafe lounge experience for families in the Middle Tennessee area, filling the vacuum left by the closure of the Barnes and Noble Hendersonville location with little to no local market alternatives.
Whereas most bookstores predicate their business models on the profitability of book sales and thus design their operations to disincentivize customers to hang around without purchasing a book, our approach will be designed to attract patrons and not only assume they will hang around, but create an environment that encourages them to do so.
What We Need & What You Get
We need funds to open our first physical location, approximately 10,000 books in inventory, cafe equipment such as coffee machines, espresso machine, and a small microwave oven, as well as to pay the salaries for a minimum of 5 employees for at least 3 months.
If you invest in us more than $250, we will etch your name in a Founder’s Wall that will be present at our first location as well as every other future location.
