Short Summary

Having been brought together by food themselves, Andrew Smith and Devoney Mills
acquired a passion for doing just that by serving old friends and new around the dining
table of their Roys Avenue Supper-club/home. After enjoying the last four and a half
years of watching friendships bloom over exploratory and imaginative meals
from the creative brain of Smith, the couple feels it’s time to take the next steps
to feeding more palates and fueling more friendships.

We Need & What You Get

Isla’s new home is in Merion Village but we need your help to finish our dining room and kitchen.  Your contributions will help us with necessary facility upgrades, equipment, flooring, tile work, and other various construction costs.  Based on your contributions we have raffles for you to win a private dinner, free tasting menu experiences, a free cooking class and an invitation to a party to celebrate our opening.  As much as you can contribute is truly appreciated.

The impact

Your contributions to Isla will make sure Isla creates a memorable imprint on the Columbus dining scene.  you will be supporting thoughtfully created tasting menus, cooking classes, chef/bartender collaborations and a space for people to celebrate the important moments in their lives.  Our city needs more experiences that create connections and evoke memories.  With your help we can create more than just a restaurant, we can create a space energizing creativity and connection through food.

We understand that the restaurant industry can be a difficult one.  We hope that the experiences you have had at the Roys Avenue Supper Club and the menus that Andrew Smith has created in this city over the last 12 years (The Rossi, Philco, Salt and Pine, and Rockmill Tavern) will give you conviction in your contribution to Isla.  Your support has given us confidence that together we can create a long-lasting staple in our dining community.
