INTRODUCING: THE GREATEST FITTING WOMEN’S JEANS IN THE WORLD.

 THE PROBLEM:    

Women have been absolutely struggling to get jeans that fit well. This is because there’s tremendous differences in the size and shape of women’s hips, yet brands have only offered waist sizes. Every brand has just somehow assumed women all have the same sized hips, which is really insane when you think about it. Which leads to things like waist gap, or the waist fitting but then the butt and thighs being too tight or too loose, and a host of other problems.

The Solution: 

It’s crazy simple. Add hip sizes. Hip sizes are independent of waist and inseam sizes and can be picked at will. Just like we already do with waist sizes.

This will allow women to get jeans that fit their waist because they can pick their waist size, fit their length because they can pick their inseam size, and finally fit their hips because they can pick their hip size. 

Now, if your hips are much wider than your waist, a little wider, straight, or even not as wide, you can get jeans that actually fit.

How do hip sizes work? They use inch based measurements, just like waist sizes. To start, we will release 6 different hip sizes, hitting the most commonly needed sizes for hips all different shapes and sizes.        

How do I find my new hip size?

There’s two ways. Check out the video below. 

If you want to be super specific, feel free to measure. Just lay a pair of pants flat that you own that come closest to fitting your hips well and measure from edge to edge through the bottom portion of the back pockets like in the video. Use our sizing chart to identify which size fits you best based on your inch measurement. When looking at the sizing chart start with your waist size then read from left to right.

However, most won’t want to measure or even have a ruler, which is totally ok, because we came up with a quicker way.

Just look at our hip shapes and pick the one that matches you best. We have included “The Standard” size that has the same waist to hip ratio of almost every other brands normal fit jeans. Use that as a reference point.

Note, it does not matter if your waist looks much bigger or smaller than the graphic, its just about the waist to hip ratio and the shape it makes. It works just as well for the largest and smallest hip sizes.

If your size is not represented yet, we apologize, we are going to grow our available sizing as fast as humanly possible, but do have short term restraints in terms of what we have the capacity to add.

Styles And Colors:

1. High waisted skinny jeans.  These are available in three colors, light blue with a distressed ankle (a cool tear on the ankle- see photos), pure black, and dark blue. Our denim is designed to limit bagging and sagging after repeated wears and is a durable midweight 12.5 oz mid weight denim. Our skinny jean denim has 2% elastane for a large amount of stretch so that you can move comfortably without feeling constrained. AND WE ADDED POCKETS. Our jeans are all made with real pockets capable of comfortably storing an object the size of an Iphone 11 for reference. The Front Rise is- 9.5 inches on our skinny jeans.         

2. Stretch Goal- Mom Jeans. Our mom jeans have a much more relaxed fit through the majority of the leg and can be easily dressed down or worn out for a night on the town. We are premiering one color, a light blue classic denim. As with most other brands Mom jeans style, our denim is 100% cotton. It’s a durable 12.5 oz denim that is built to last. And of course, they have POCKETS.

Delivery Schedule:

Each donation to our campaign will be met with a corresponding pair, or pairs, of jeans. Note, Mom jeans will be added as reward options should we hit our first stretch goal. Once our campaign ends our orders will be placed with our manufacturing partners. Rewards will be delivered after our initial factory run is completed. This will be at a minimum 60 days. We also need to ship the pants via ocean freight, which will be another 30 days (you can’t UPS a cargo container!). In total rewards will likely be delivered in 90 days, but with manufacturing delays do happen, so it is not out of the realm of possibility that rewards take 120 days to deliver. We anticipate that being a worst case scenario and being able to get them to you much, much quicker. We are committed to making this vision of better sizing a reality, and we will keep you abreast of every update! We will fundamentally alter how women’s pants fit!!! 

After completing the campaign on the 21st of September we will order our patterns (those are the “blueprints” of the jeans). Those will take two weeks to be completed. We will then pass those to our manufacturing partner who’s prepped and ready to go. Their production will take 30 days. Finally, the jeans will be shipped to us via freight, likely taking 30 days at longest, and then lastly, we will triple check to ensure quality and then ship to you.

Our Plan:

Here’s the vision- we are going to fix the apparel industry. There’s two main problems- 1. no one’s clothes fit and the quality is poor, and 2. the apparel industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions and that number is rising. The apparel industry cannot continue this way because it is literally endangering us all and we’re sick of clothes very poorly.

So we will start by fixing fit for various clothing items, women’s jeans being first by introducing hip sizes, as we conquer the fit problem and the pants industry, this will enable us to generate enough capital to begin investing in better manufacturing solutions. Today, we will have to use traditional manufacturing to get started, but very quickly we will be able to phase that out by investing in technology that already largely exists, robots capable of sewing, and setting up shop in the United States. We will then power our manufacturing capabilities with electric energy, before repeating this process for the denim and textile production here in the United States. Basically, we are going to do what Tesla is doing to the car industry to the apparel industry.

The result of this? Clothes that fit and look way better for a reasonable price and we help save humanity from a future with an unlivable Earth.

How long will it take to pull off this vision? About a decade. Again, the first step is getting enough power to begin to effect change. Together, we need to launch a global brand with the resources to pull this off. The good news is all the technology exists, it’s just a matter of having the vision, capital, and will to achieve this.

We are offering free shipping to anywhere in the United States, 15 dollars to ship to Canada, and 30 dollars to ship anywhere else in the world. 

Exchange Policy:

If you follow the shapes and/or sizing chart, then the jeans will fit you amazing. Still, if you wish to exchange your jeans for a different size or color, we’ll happily do that, but you’ll have to pay for the two way shipping. Because this KickStarter campaign is funding our first large run we won’t be able to accept returns because the ambiguity would make it difficult for us to place an order with our manufacturers. In the event you want to exchange sizes though please make sure the items are unworn and unwashed. Also, all items must be in the condition you received them with all hangtags still attached. We accept exchanges up to 30 days after you’ve received the jeans. Our normal exchange policy outside of this campaign will be much more flexible, however, this current format is necessary for the KickStarter campaign to get enough inventory to successfully launch our brand.
