My project
Jerry of Jupiter can be a water-shed moment for our society and potentially motivate us toward healthier approaches in Mental Health.
A feature film based on the true events of the life of Jerry Lucido and his battles to overcome the challenges of an early-onset diagnosis of Schizophrenia when he was just 12-years-old. The 23 year, ongoing effort to realize this motion picture is a demonstration of human potential and the power of a community fueled by compassion.
It was in November of 1997 that Jerry’s younger brother and caregiver Ezio, promised Jerry they’d one day tell his story as an important film experience. With Jerry recently overcoming a near-death event, he asked Ezio to finally help tell his story while he is still here to see it, specifically by asking the world (you!) to help make it happen.
As we grapple with the complex challenges of Mental Health, this is a story that is missing from the conversation. The world deserves to know what happened to Jerry Lucido. For this reason, we need your help as we look to move passed special interests and reach for our shared potential.

My plan
The film has been budgeted by an acclaimed producer, and once the funding goal is reached, we will form our production team, engage with known acting talent, then schedule production of the film accordingly. We will keep everyone posted through-out the effort!
