Pioneer Space for All & Champion Underrepresented Voices
Why We’re Here
As space exploration accelerates, LunARC believes the Moon should be a place for every voice, culture, and dream. Our vision is to create the Lunar University—a beacon of knowledge and global unity. This campaign brings us closer to that goal, starting with a powerful, symbolic first step: the Lunar Community Art Gallery.
We’re raising $100,000 to inspire and empower underrepresented voices around the world to engage in space exploration.
As a nonprofit, we have filed for 501(c)(3) U.S. federal tax-exempt status.
The First Mission
The journey to the Lunar University begins with art—a universal language that transcends borders and cultures. The Lunar Community Art Gallery will bring artwork from marginalized communities to the Moon, preserving a powerful message: space exploration is a journey for all of humanity. With over 30,000 artworks collected from 40 countries, this gallery will launch on Firefly’s Blue Ghost Lander to Mare Crisium, creating a permanent testament to inclusion and creativity on the lunar surface.
This gallery marks the first step toward the Lunar University, a vision for a place on the Moon dedicated to knowledge, creativity, and unity. By supporting this campaign, you’re part of a movement that is:
- Igniting conversations about who belongs in space exploration and empowering people to see themselves as part of this journey, regardless of background.
- Amplifying the voices of communities that have traditionally been excluded, ensuring their dreams are part of our shared exploration.
- Laying the foundation for the world’s first lunar university, where diversity of thought and experience will be celebrated as a hallmark of human achievement.
Artists from across the world—including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cambodia, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Jamaica, Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Syria, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Palestine, Tanzania, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Poland, Serbia, and South Africa—are participating in this historic mission, alongside those from nations traditionally involved in space. This diverse collective of voices showcases the richness of human experience and reinforces our commitment to making space a place for everyone.
Meet the Team
Volunteers play a crucial role in our endeavors, dedicating their time and skills to various aspects of our missions and projects. From assisting in research and development to providing logistical support, their contributions are invaluable in realizing our goals. Furthermore, our team of advisors, composed of experts from diverse fields provides invaluable guidance and strategic insights, enhancing the effectiveness and impact of our work.
Your Impact
Every contribution directly supports initiatives that bring this vision to life. Here’s how your funds will be used:
Animated Short Film – $30,000
This animated film will capture the story of the Lunar University and Community Art Gallery, inspiring audiences globally to see themselves in the future of space exploration. Through vibrant storytelling, the film will bring our vision to life, reaching remote villages, cultural centers, and schools. Dubbed and subtitled in multiple languages, it will connect deeply with people of all backgrounds, encouraging them to envision themselves as part of this mission.
Community Partner Outreach – $30,000
Our grassroots partners will help spread the campaign’s message directly to local communities. Rather than relying on traditional PR, trusted partners will share the animated film and lead discussions on space exploration and representation. Through small gatherings and local media, we’ll foster engagement with communities that may not traditionally see themselves in space, expanding the movement’s impact.
Digital Storybook – $20,000
The digital storybook will beautifully archive the art, stories, and reflections of LunARC’s diverse communities. Freely accessible and designed to load quickly even in low-bandwidth areas, this storybook will celebrate the creativity and perspectives of contributors worldwide. Circulating on social media and other platforms, it will serve as an inspiring and enduring record of this campaign’s global reach.
Global Livestream Celebration – $20,000
We’ll host a livestream celebration to connect supporters from around the world, marking the Lunar University’s first steps. Broadcast in multiple languages, the event will showcase the animated film, stories from community ambassadors, artist spotlights, and a visioning session for the future of the Lunar University. Supporters will have the chance to ask questions, share reflections, and be part of a global community united in the dream of inclusive space exploration.
