A dystopian science fiction drama is complete – it’s time to reward the cast and spread the word.
In the very near future an interstellar Judge has come to Earth to wipe out the human race. A government savant and a super-genius battle wits with the Judge while Interpol agents interrogate an alien Prisoner who is trying to save mankind from the impending extermination.
Nanya, a brilliant savant, goes to her run-down bunker to interrogate a mysterious girl captured by the US Military. Li Lin, a Chinese prodigy with an IQ of over 500, watches through a hacked security camera feed as Nanya tries to determine the girl’s reason for making threats against the citizens of the United States of America. Meanwhile, Athena and Gabrielle, two Interpol operatives, interrogate a prisoner who has already caused a number of deaths but claims to be trying to save the human race from an interstellar judge bent on wiping out the race of man on Earth.
Lawmaker – Discord and Dissent is a Dystopian Science Fiction drama that has already been made. This PG-13 story follows the conversations between two aliens and four humans and is a precursor to a second (and final) film that, if made, will consist of nonstop R-Rated carnage.
This film was conceived, produced, and completed without obtaining outside funding. But that isn’t the only difference that may set this project apart from many other film projects.
The participants of this film will receive 99% of any profits made from the film if it ever generates revenue, including any revenue from crowdfunding. That means that 99% of the contributions to this campaign will go to the cast who made this film possible (minus the associated fees, reserves, cost of perks, etc). Von Krome is keeping only 1%.
The decision to create this movie without any outside assistance or influence meant that the film could be made exactly as the creator intended, with no interference, no compromise, no delays, no budget issues, and no corruption of the artistic design and goals. The decision to give the cast the majority of the profits (if any) is simply a decentralized, humanity-driven business decision. Those who work hard to make a project a success should be rewarded.
The purpose of this campaign is to provide additional compensation to the actors and actresses who made this film possible, and to provide a means of generating public interest in a film that was written solely to relay a lesson in humanity.
The perks available in this campaign begin with a digital full-color Trivia Booklet containing nearly 100 behind-the-scenes facts accompanied by dozens of full color photos. Signed and personalized perks are available as well, and the highest-level perks allow for the acquisition of set props and Zoom meetings with the cast. The largest perks include a Special Thanks in the end film credits, while all perks receive thanks on the movie’s official web site and a private link to the finished film upon its release. Many of the Perks already exist. All of the Booklets have been created, the Media Kit has been assembled, the props are sitting in boxes ready to ship, and the film is finished.
This is not an action film. This is not a superhero film. This is not a romantic comedy and it’s not about aliens. This is an in-your-face parable that directly addresses what has gone wrong with the race of man. The characters in this film are bold, blunt, and forthright in their assessment of the current state of mankind. No punches are pulled, and no apologies are made.
There are few risks or challenges involved with this campaign because the film is already finished. This campaign was started to provide additional compensation to an incredible cast for doing an incredible job so that they can be further rewarded for doing what they love. As a by-product, this campaign provides a venue for spreading the word about the film.
Even if you can’t donate to the campaign, you can help by telling your friends, family, coworkers, and social media contacts about the film and this campaign. By helping to get others involved you are contributing more than you can imagine. Thank you for your interest in this project – it is appreciated!
