The next generation of UV face mask.
‘
ManaAir was conceived the day that COVID-19 spread globally. I wanted to make PPE that could help those at the highest risk. Seeing hospitals filled with patients, the high intubation rates, and the fear in the eyes of the sick and their loved ones, I felt there needed to be a better solution. I wanted to bring faces to these heroes that we call medical professionals. Being able to see who you are talking to instills trust. We wanted to fully protect these heroes while giving them back this important aspect of the patient-doctor/nurse relationship… a trusting face.
Our first prototype of the ManaAir proved to me that this is a good idea. When cleaning of my mold ridden split duct A/C, I became amazed in the product. I had previously used goggles and a regular N95 face mask to clean my A/C, but I had to change the mask regularly and constantly clear my fogged-up goggles. It was punishing for 2-3 hours of cleaning. However, with the first iteration of the ManaAir, I felt constant clean air rushing over my face, keeping me cool and the mask fog-free. At this moment, I knew I had to take this idea to the next level.
Four additional versions later, we finally achieved a product that could go to market. Despite the challenges, we did not compromise any of the added features during the development. Now we hope the market can see our vision and recognize it by backing us so we can continue our pursuit to perfect future PPE.
The ManaAir UV Face Mask does not imply or claim to diagnose, cure, treat, mitigate or prevent any illness or health conditions. We created the ManaAir with the intention of making the world a safer place. It is by no means intended to be used to promote social anarchy and antisocial activities.
As confident as we are in the quality of our mask, we still want you to contact us at contactus@manaflex.com if you have any concerns. We will be happy to assist you and make everything right for you!
Committing to use a reusable ManaAir UV face mask means diverting hundreds of masks from landfills every year. As part of our mission, The ManaAir’s User Manual contains information on how to recycle the face mask. We have used recycled materials wherever possible. Components can be easily separated and recycled.
OUR NEXT STEP: We are at an advanced stage in the design process and are now investing in production process, tooling fixtures and material testings. We are currently working to get certifications by the relevant governing bodies.
The body of the mask can be washed and sanitized on a daily basis. The N95 filter can be replaced and recycled. At end-of-life the mask can easily be deconstructed to its constituent parts and recycled.
