Choose from three algorithmic processing modes to match your setup—including your retro game, video console, and large screen. The AI algorithm works automatically to enhance your retro visuals, no video processing expertise required.
Mode 1 (OG Retro): Identical visual enhancements to the original mClassic Retro Mode. It enhances Retro graphics in real-time by reducing visual artifacts commonly seen on modern displays, such as 4K TVs. Our built-in processor delivers high performance Anti-Aliasing, 1440p Up-Scaling, Depth of Field Processing, and Image Sharpening for better pixels.
Mode 2 (Vintage Retro): Employs new algorithms to deliver a more authentic gaming experience, replicating the look and feel of CRT era games. While mClassic processor reduces visual artifacts seen on modern displays, the reconfigured hardware acceleration aims to recreate the color, composition, lighting, camera angle and sound as originally intended.
Mode 3 (Vintage Retro+): Mode 3 uses the same algorithms as Mode 2 (Vintage Retro), with different settings for a more refined gaming experience. It considers various display processing, video game renderings, and game consoles giving you the ability to fine-tune your gameplay as you remember it.
