Did you know that you can now get a consistent power reading WITHOUT a dedicated power meter? Miles will estimate power with a dedicated algorithm. There are several key factors that affect the accuracy of power estimation, so it is highly recommended to pair Miles with a cadence sensor and fill in all the relevant information in the app.

Power Meter Metrics

Miles is compatible with power meters that display power and receive data via ANT+. When a power meter is paired with Miles, you will see the power metrics on the power meter displays.

Smart Bike Taillight Control

Miles works with Shanren’s best-selling smart tail light Raz Pro, designed for safe solo rides and exceptional group cycling experience. The LEDs on Miles light up in perfect sync with the Raz Pro: using the same color mode and signaling when you break. Plus, with Miles you get to easily control your Raz Pro light right from your handlebar. The light will keep you fully visible when riding in dark tunnels or on poorly lit roads and can be used in unison with other Raz Pro lights.

Our Story

8 Years in the Cycling Industry

Our story began in 2012 when three young professionals from three different fields (electronics, product development internet technologies) started a company named SHANREN.The name of our company reflects one of our key principles: people living in harmony with nature (translated from Chinese, “shan” means mountain and “ren” means people). And, as a tech company, we incorporate this principle into the design and functionality of all of our products: innovative high level fitness and health tracking devices for cycling enthusiasts.

Over our 8 years in the cycling industry, we have reengineered our company time and time again to keep up with the growing demands of modern cyclists and open new avenues for innovation. Our breakthroughs in heart rate analysis and motion algorithms have helped thousands of cyclists worldwide and we hold several patents in this and related fields.

We grow out of struggles to overcome difficulties.

We have gained rich experience in overcoming difficulties.we developed top-quality cycling and fitness equipment and solutions in these years, emphasizing usability and usefulness above all else. We have pioneered new and unique ways to implement GPS computers, ECG heart rate monitors, and other cutting-edge accessories. Through advanced algorithms and accurate data analytics.

Now,Shanren is a team of forward-thinking and creative designers, engineers, fitness enthusiasts, and geeks. Headquartered in Shenzhen and operating a logistics branch in Hong Kong.

Constantly learn from the previous iteration

Jan 2019: we launched the Raz Pro bike light on Kickstarter and received 1121 backers and 76K dollars
Jan 2019: we presented the Di-pro GPS bike computer on Indiegogo.
May 2019: we launched the Beat 20 ECG heart rate monitor on Kickstarter.
2016: we received a 1.5-million dollar Pre-A round investment.

Risks and challenges

Since the first mass-produced product, the Shanren team has developed more than 10 products from when we began in 2012. The tooling of Miles has already been completed, so we are confident that we can deliver this product to our backers as planned.
