Our Story

Hey! My name is Joseph (on the right). On the left you have Rose and Will, the two other Sydney-based gems!

4 years ago I was running as usual with my phone strap. I thought to myself: ‘this is so bulky, uncomfortable and sticky… wouldn’t it be nice if someone were to put everything I need into sunglasses so I wouldn’t have to look down all the time?’

I sat on this idea for years before finally deciding to make the leap of faith and scratch my own itch. That ‘someone’ became me. I didn’t want to die a man with only ideas but no action. 

Over the last 11 months my team of 10 passionate athletes and engineering wizards have worked tirelessly in consultation with hundreds of athletes to design the perfect product for us. We hope you like it as much as we do, and choose to back us to achieve our dream of revolutionizing the fitness wearable industry.

Minimis Glass is only the beginning. We have grand ambitions of further developing this product such as adding bone conduction audio, a rear-view camera, developing the world’s first curved waveguide and even a prescription waveguide. We also plan to serve several more underserved markets – a true slim minimalist phone for digital minimalists, standalone car HUDs and highly requested use cases for our glasses such as golfing, snow sports and motorcycling.
