Hello! We are Morisaka Global and ZenGroup. You may know Morisaka Global for its famous plushies, the “Mochi Series,” particularly the Kawauso (Mochi Otter), Kaeru (Mochi Frog), and Neko (Mochi Cat). ZenGroup, the parent company of ZenPlus.jp, is one of the leading cross-border e-commerce companies in Japan and the main partner of Morisaka Global.

This time, we have partnered to bring to life a project that many of you requested:

An animation series for our beloved Mochi Series!

With this crowdfunding project, we aim to gather enough funds to bring our beloved Mochi characters to life! It will be a hard journey: animation is pricey, but with the support of our beloved community, we are sure we can make this project a reality!

Characters introduction

① Mochi Kawauso

He is easy-going but tends to get a little bit lonely. He is very curious and loves playing with friends.?

② Mochi Kaeru

He has a romantic personality. He is a gourmet and can’t resist delicious food!?

③ Mochi Neko

He is laid-back and calm. His hobby is solo camping.?️

What We Need & What You Can Get

We are seeking to raise at least 8 million yen (approx. $50,000) to launch the first phase of the Morisaka Global animation project and cover the production costs of the first episode, all return goods costs, shipping, taxes, and platform fees.

How will we use the funds?

Below is a more detailed breakdown of the costs.

All the episodes will be published on YouTube on the official Morisaka Global channel. These episodes will feature the three main characters from the brand: Mochi Kawauso (Otter), Mochi Kaeru (Frog), and Mochi Neko (Cat). This will be the first introduction of the characters, showcasing their personalities and their first adventures!

But of course, if we can, we won’t stop at three episodes! Based on how much we earn, we will be able to produce up to ten episodes (or even more). The only limit here is the sky! ??

Main Goal

1 episode: ¥8 mil (approx. $50,000)

2 episodes: ¥16 mil (approx. $100,000)

Stretch Goal

3 episodes: ¥24 mil (approx. $150,000)

4 episodes: ¥32 mil (approx. $200,000)

5 episodes: ¥40 mil (approx. $250,000)

6 episodes: ¥48 mil (approx. $300,000)

7 episodes: ¥56 mil (approx. $350,000)

8 episodes: ¥64 mil (approx. $400,000)

9 episodes: ¥72 mil (approx. $450,000)

10 episodes: ¥80 mil (approx. $500,000)
