so what’s new

During our 2nd campaign, “Mover Erase – Mini Whiteboard on the Palm”, our community asked for an upgrade of the 1st gen Mover with Erasable surface.

This campaign is the upgrade of 1st campaign tools injected with the eco-friendly ideology from the 2nd campaign.

The process involves the experience of manufacturing a new found material from the second campaign and applying it to change and upgrade the 1st gen Movers.

it looks like a small change, though it is a response to the voice of the community.

In our first campaign, the sizes of Mover were praised by backers. They believe those are the perfect sizes for breaking ideas down and blocking the time. Arranging works could be more meticulous and it would be easy to separate different ideas.

Although writing on memo paper still has its value, some backers felt that refilling mover was a shortcoming as the product was still in early stages. They worry refills are not immediately available. Erasable surface was needed.

For our second campaign, we originally would like to turn all 1st gen product erasable. However, mass producing small sizes of silicon material was a challenge. New installation method has to be tested and discovered. That is why the size in the second campaign is much larger than the first campaign and only comes in a single size.

After the 2nd campaign’s success. We have accumulated the manufacturing experience and mastered it. In this campaign. we have utter confidence to apply new found material to complete the product development process in response to the backers in the 2nd campaign. Also, there has been an improvement for the coating technique based on the 2nd campaign’s writing material to produce the 3rd campaign’s rewards.

The improvement of coating technique enhances the erasable experience and solve the stain problem. The silicon whiteboard material’s stability and polymerization is enhanced.

We have not settled for simply turning the 1st gen Movers into erasable surfaces, we have taken an extra step. 

To embody the idea of “using Mover Erase everywhere”, we have invited a new organizer to the family, The MoverPanel.

MoverPanel is a light weight, versatile organizer with magnetic feature which can store Mover Erase Combo. At the same time, its back is embedded with micro-suction technology with silicon, thus making it rewashable and re-stickable.

For our 1st campaign, there wasn’t any voting or involvment of color design for Movers. For the 2nd campaign, the color was set to only White by default.

In this campaign, there will be 2 extra colors on top of “white” right off the bat. Those two colors were the 2 favoritely voted colors from the last campaign. After stretch goals are met, we are excited welcome more colors to the Mover family!

We can’t wait for more ideas from the community, whether they are on templates, advancement of usage, new organizers need. etc.

After our last campaign, we have received many backers’ feedback and Expo Ultra Fine Tip is by far the best type of pen to write on Mover Erase as it has a small tip. We recommend it if you want a small tip whiteboard marker.

This time, Mover Erase Combo has an improvement of organization as it can be stacked neatly for different sizes, which was absent from past campaign. The paper in past versions have hindered for such a feature. And the upgraded versions with the silicon whiteboard material helps forge it. 

The improved version is more neatly stacked.

Many backers expressed that they had similar ideas when Mover debuted.

After they received movers, they are happily using them.

And this campaign is also the response to many backers after the last campaign.

We have finalized our design and are ready to manufacture.

During the prototyping period, we have built a strong connection with our suppliers and excluded the bad ones.

We have done a lot of testing on prototype and tooling process to ensure the manufacturing and production process will be feasible and smooth.

If we can pull this off, with our 1st and 2nd campaigns’ successful experience, we have utter confidence to deliver what you ordered with high quality.  Taken the pandemic situation into consideration, we are estimating 5-6 months until final delivery, which should be October to November 2021.

Risks and challenges

We have accumulated a lot of knowledge and experience to develop Mover Erase Combo. Furthermore, we have the experience of the last two successfully funded campaigns.  Our team has put in a great deal of effort into this project and we are confident that with a successful backing, we will be able to successfully complete our campaign.  We know how important communication is and we pledge to be open and transparent with you to the best of our abilities. If we are met with unexpected circumstances, we promise to communicate with full transparency to you, our backers, and work to resolve all issues in a timely manner. It is important to note that we ship the products to a wide-range of certain countries and there may be some delays due to taxes, tariffs and other import regulation in each country.  Mover Erase Combo is a consumable product and we will try our best to keep the quality at its best. Although it is a very rare scenario, if the products fall off too many times, there is a potential for the magnets to drop out from the mover erase combo. There will not be refund nor return process. Users are advised to find ways to restore the product.
