ModuleOneâ„¢ provides a hassle-free way to get started with its product. By simply plugging it into any power socket, users can easily get started with the product without the need for complicated installations or costly electrician fees. However, if required or preferred, a fixed cable installation is included in every shipment.

Connect

Once plugged in, you can connect ModuleOne™ to the MyGrid app. This app gives you full control over your energy usage, allowing you to monitor your consumption and optimize your savings.  You can even charge ModuleOne™ with low-cost energy from your solar panels or the grid during off-peak hours, and use it when energy prices are high.

Bidirectional Micro Charger/Inverter

The ModuleOne is a unique IoT device that consists of two main parts, the battery unit and the charger/inverter, also known as the docking power unit. The docking power unit is designed to function as a bi-directional micro-inverter/charger, which enables it to both receive and transmit energy. The docking powerunit can charge and discharge bidirectionally with a maximum power output of 800W, although the max power can be programmed to be lower aswell (for example 600W).

One of the primary functions of the power unit is to store energy in the battery unit when the energy is available at a lower cost, typically during off-peak hours. The stored energy can then be used when the energy costs are high, such as during peak hours. The docking powerunit will discharge the stored energy through your existing power socket in your home grid, which helps you save on electricity bills.

Since the bidirectional power supply of the docking power unit is controlled by our cloud platform, it is the ideal IoT technology to power the homes of the future.

ModuleOne™ is a plug-and-play home battery that is equipped with powerful EV grade and safe LiFePO4 battery cell technology. With a capacity of 1500Wh and a lifecycle of 6000 cycles, the battery can last up to 16 years if charged and discharged once a day. 

The ModuleOne™ can be easily charged and discharged using a standard 110/230 VAC power socket with a maximum rate of 800W (600W), ensuring efficient and cost-effective storage of renewable energy. It only takes 2 hours to fully charge and discharge the ModuleOne™, enabling you to quickly and conveniently power your home with clean energy.

ModuleOne™ also features two USB C ports that can deliver up to 100W, making it perfect for charging smartphones, laptops, and other devices. Additionally, the battery has a pure sine wave AC output that can deliver 110/230 VAC at 300W, allowing you to power your appliances and devices smoothly and efficiently. 

Despite its powerful performance, ModuleOne™ is compact and lightweight, weighing just 12kg and measuring Ø20 x 40cm. This makes it easy to install and move around, allowing you to use it wherever and whenever you need it.

These batteries are known for being safer, more stable, and longer-lasting than traditional lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, they have a proven track record of being used in electric vehicles, making them a reliable and trustworthy option for all of your energy needs.

Expandable
To increase the amount of energy that can be stored, our ModuleOne™ battery and future battery products can be connected together in your home network. However, ensuring safety is our top priority, and we have implemented a mechanism where our batteries discharge sequentially and not in parallel. This prevents overloading the grid and guarantees the safety of our batteries in any home environment. During the charging sequence, multiple ModuleOnes can be charged simultaneously.

API integration
Our platform offers effortless integration with the latest smart home standard, Matter. This cutting-edge technology is a new IoT standard that is fully compatible with both Apple and Android devices. 

Additionally, we provide an open API that empowers you to incorporate your own or use third-party solutions that align with your specific infrastructure and requirements. Whether you aim to integrate your home battery into your existing energy management system with a smart meter and dongle, or connect it to your solar inverter API, our platform has got you covered.  We have compiled a list of compatible devices, but these are certainly not all of them, so if we missed any, please send us a message so we can check compatibility.

One of the major advantages of the modular design of ModuleOne™ is that it allows for easy switching of power sockets during the manufacturing process. This means that during our manufacturing we can easily swap out power sockets depending on the country for which each ModuleOne™ is being produced. 

With our current support for US, EU, and UK power sockets, we can ensure that each ModuleOneâ„¢ is tailored to the specific needs of its intended market.

How it was build

We’re excited to share our journey with you as we’ve spent the last two years building, designing, and prototyping the ModuleOneâ„¢.  It all started with a simple idea: to create a product that solves a common problem in a unique and innovative way. We knew we had something special, so we got to work right away.  

The first step was to research the market and gather feedback from potential users. We wanted to make sure that our product was not only useful but also desirable.

Armed with this information, we started sketching and building our first designs in mockups and prototypes.

From there, we moved on to creating a prototype. We spent countless hours tweaking and refining the design, making sure every detail was just right. 

We tested the prototype extensively, making adjustments along the way until we had a product that we were proud of.
