Technologies

Motor

1000W Bafang hub motor (RM G062.1000.DC) with 85 nm of torque and 35mph/56kph max speed.

Suspension

With Nireeka’s custom-made front suspension fork and X-Fusion O2 rear shock, you have 140mm travel both front and rear. One of the most significant improvements is our updated geometry and revised kinematics.

ABS Brakes

With a fast e-bike like Revenant, you want no compromise on the brakes! Nireeka is one of a few companies that are using the ABS (Anti-lock braking system) on the bicycle.

Simply put, ABS on a two-wheeled vehicle prevents wheel locking and increases stability. Bicycles are, by nature, less stable than four-wheeled vehicles. Braking too hard can destabilize a bike and lead to either the wheel locking, causing the bike to overturn or slide.

ABS uses speed sensors on the front wheel to accurately determine wheel speed as well as sensors to determine when a wheel is about to lock.

Then it adjusts the braking pressure accordingly to prevent the wheel from locking and assists with maintaining the stability of the bike. In many circumstances, ABS has been shown to reduce braking distance. Bikes with ABS technology are involved in fewer crashes on the road.

Taillight

Safety is our priority! You cannot enjoy your ride when you’re worried about your safety on the road. The embedded taillight is equipped with a Gyro sensor to light up the brake lights when applying the brakes while the running daytime light is always illuminated to help you to be seen during day and night.

Display

The Revenant HMI with a high-contrast LCD display delivers all important information at a glance and can also be read in direct sunlight without difficulty. The handlebar buttons give good feedback and are extremely robust, and easy to use. The HMI is protected against contact and ingress of water and dirt and complies with protection class IP 65.

Battery

The battery can be charged on or off the bike. Unlike the previous generation, we have a carbon fiber battery cover that is useful when you’re going to ride the bike without the battery. It also protects the battery from water, mud, and dirt.

The battery is about 30% larger so you can enjoy the speed and acceleration of your 1000w motor and still have enough range.

Torque Sensor/Speed Sensor

The torque sensor senses the force you’re applying to the pedals, so the motor provides the appropriate torque based on that.

The Speed sensor detects the pedal movement only and not the force you’re applying. Therefore, the torque sensor will be more accurate compared to the speed sensor. Cadence sensors are great if you have knee sensitivities and don’t want to put a lot of pressure on them, all you have to do here is cycle the cranks around lightly to get some motor assistance.

The speed sensor is installed on the bike already and the torque sensor is a paid option.

Plus size Tires

Not too fat, not too thin. Just right! The Revenant comes with a 27.5″x3″ rear tire and a 27.5″x2.8″ front tire. Plus (also known as mid-fat) tires are between the fat tires and the traditional mountain tires that are around 2˝ wide.
