Nestled in Campbellville, Ontario, “Cedar Brook Farm” is a storied 50-acre property in the foothills of the Niagara Escarpment (A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). Once the beloved home of Esther the Wonder Pig and Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary, the property now embarks on a new journey as an agritourism destination with all profits donated to support animal rescue organizations and sanctuaries. Situated within the Greater Toronto Area with close proximity to many large cities, including Toronto (65km) Hamilton (35km) Niagara Falls (96km), and just 41km from Toronto Pearson International Airport, the farm offers easy access to a vast and diverse population, making it an ideal destination for guests and supporters alike.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to create unforgettable and unique experiences on the farm by offering guests opportunities to reconnect with nature, enjoy farm stays, and engage in special events. What We Need & What You Get

  • Our fundraising goal of $1,000,000 will allow us to gain full ownership of the property, preserve the storied history of the farm, and begin operations as a revenue-generating agritourism destination to support struggling sanctuaries and rescue organizations.
  • Contributors will be able to collect a variety of perks including but not limited to, overnight stays at the farm, invitations to our grand opening celebration, naming rights for cabins and yurts, and private tours.
  • In the unfortunate event that we do not raise the required funds to purchase the subject property, we will immediately begin the search for a new one. While preserving the history of the current farm is very important, the primary objective is to create an organization that can provide much-needed support to existing sanctuaries and rescue organizations. 

 

The Impact

  • Animal Sanctuaries and Rescue Organizations all over the world are in a constant battle for financial support to meet the needs of their animal residents. Our plan to create an organization whose sole purpose is to generate funds to support these sanctuaries and rescues could not only help alleviate their financial challenges but also serve as a model for revenue-generating programs they can implement themselves to improve cash flow and provide additional financial security.
  • As the co-founder of Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary and Esther the Wonder Pig I have over a decade of experience in the animal sanctuary world. After seeing first-hand the struggle many animal protection organizations are facing, I have never been more determined to make a lasting and meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the people who dedicate their lives to taking care of them. 
  • The money raised by this campaign will become equity in the property that will appreciate in value over time. In the unlikely event the property is ever sold that share of equity will be donated to animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations in accordance with the objectives of the facility we are creating.
