A feature length narrative documentary film will show how scholars and film crew are searching about the origin of Shamanism.
ABOUT PROJECT
There are many religious beliefs around the world and one of them is Shamanism. Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and moreover, a way of life. It is a way to connect with nature and all of creation. It’s all mystery and scientific miracle that human haven’t discovered the truth behind it. But as a Mongolia film director I know that Shamanism is the great spiritual belief in our country as well as guide to great success conquering half of the world for Chingis Khan /Genghis Khan/ during 13th century. But we all know that people were practicing Shamanism long time ago before Chingis Khan. Our film crew, some scholars and world’s great Shamans will try to find out the origin of the Shamanism and a secrets behind it’s greatness.
OUR GOAL
There are so many questions that interests us. Where it’s come from? How it really works? Does all Shamanism around the world are same? Does Native Americans are originated from Mongolia that is why they have Shamanism? Is there actually miracle in it? How it’s popular in America? etc. And we are open to take your questions and concerns about Shamanism.
The most important point of this film is, in this modern world where technology is conquering our mind can Shamanism still be alive and help us to protect our HOME from world warming, nature disasters.
PLAN FOR FILMING
- Our goal is to reach out to places where it has great history, past and Shamanism still alive. Also, to meet local Shamans, scholars and people who will talk about their experiences and give us an answers to our questions that we are looking for. We will show images that never been seen before on screens.
