Simply place your hand on the handle to activate FlowStride. If you need to take your hands off in an emergency, e-Wagon will automatically brake. Press the reverse control button to back up in tight spaces. It’s that simple.

e-Wagon has a portable, detachable battery that slides on easily to the front of the utility wagon. Charge up at home in just 3 hours to get up to a whopping 7 miles of usage.

e-Wagon is built for adventure, no matter how sticky the situation gets. The whole unit is waterproof, and if things get a little messy, you can clean the entire unit with a water hose. It also has a removable interior fabric that can be machine-washed.

Shipping fees need to be added to the order. As a small gesture of gratitude toward our backers, we’ve covered most of the shipping fees:

• For backers with shipping addresses in continental U.S, Canada, and Hong Kong, we charge $50 as a standard shipping fee.
• At the moment, we estimate and charge $100 for shipments to United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand. Shipping, taxes, and customs fees may vary between countries, so they will be calculated based on exact shipping addresses in a survey that’s collected toward the end of the campaign. If international shipping is substantially more than $100, we will let you know. 
• For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and some addresses in the Extended Area and Remote Area, we will contact you prior to sending your e-Wagon out with a customized shipping quote based on your exact location. Once we receive your payment, we’ll ship the e-Wagon immediately!

The payment will be processed in Hong Kong, in HKD. Converted amounts are estimates and may differ from the actual amount charged based on your card issuer’s exchange rate.

Enrich your outdoor experience with our add-ons. You can directly purchase add-ons with the e-Wagon when you select your reward, or you can select individual add-on after choosing your reward. 

Add-ons you purchase with the e-Wagon will be shipped together. The only exception is the battery. Due to the size of the battery and its product category, it will have to be shipped separately, which will involve extra shipping costs. 

Express shipping option is available as an add-on. It is expected to arrive 4 weeks earlier than standard shipping. Please note that the express shipping option is only applicable for orders to the United States and Canada.

At the Outisan forge, we’re working day and night to bring the e-Wagon to your doorstep. And this includes making sure we produce the highest quality product. We are now finalizing our pre-production prototypes and testing them on fields to guarantee it meets all the requirements, working alongside industry-leading manufacturers and suppliers. Mass production will start in Jan 2023, and we’ll be continuously keeping our backers informed at every stage. 

Risks & Challenges

With the launch of the e-Wagon, the Outisan team has put a huge amount of effort into this launch to ensure we deliver across all fronts. However, as with any product launch, there are some things that sometimes can’t be predicted. We’ve listed some common risks associated with crowdfunding projects and how we plan to mitigate them:

1. Electronic Design: Going from electrical engineering to PCB design is never a one-step solution. Innovation requires a completely new approach, often with no readily available solutions. So we started from scratch, going through numerous tests to ensure we found the best combinations of engineering, structural design, and the key components, of course. To this end, we are working with top-tier component suppliers, renowned industrial designers, and an inspiring team that’s working day and night to bring this product to your doorsteps.

2. Manufacturing: We’ve brought in top-tier manufacturers to bring the e-Wagon to reality. Our skilled product managers and quality control engineers work very closely with our chosen manufacturers to ensure we adhere to the highest possible standards. In the months leading up to mass production, in order to further improve the product, there might be some refinements made to the process, which could create longer shipping times than expected. We want to be as transparent about this process as possible, so you, our backers, can get the product you deserve.

3. Shipping & Logistics: We are also working with experienced warehouses and shipping companies ahead of time to make sure we have a clear shipping and logistics plan in advance. Please note, sales tax and other country-specific taxes can’t be pre-paid. These taxes, if applicable, will be communicated to you by your shipping country of destination.

The Outisan team is working day and night to limit any potential risks in this project, and we’re working closely with our network of industry experts to make this vision come true. As always, we want to be completely transparent about the process, and we’ll be updating the Outisan e-Wagon community on a weekly basis about the whole process.
