Paul Francis | CEO & President

Paul Francis left the architectural profession to become an industrial designer and inventor (over 30 patents), licensing products in the housewares, personal care and fitness industries. 

He invented SpiraFlex resistance technology for NASA‘s mission critical program to counteract astronaut bone and muscle loss caused by zero gravity. Astronauts trained with his iRED (Resistance Exercise Device) for over 10 years on the International Space Station. He later licensed SpiraFlex technology to Nautilus Inc. and helped develop the Bowflex Revolution home gym, generating sales of over $300M. 

He founded OYO Fitness to provide portable and affordable health and fitness products. His NOVA Gym invention became the highest crowdfunded fitness product in history.  

Joseph Kessinger | Financial Advisor

Joe Kessinger is a business advisor/financer with more than 30 years of experience in business development, corporate value enhancement, family business transitions, corporate finance and merger/acquisition advisory services. He has been employed by two Big 4 accounting firms (KPMG and Ernst & Young), managed venture capital/private equity portfolios, consulted with family offices and has started, owned and operated and sold several different businesses including an electronics manufacturing company and a medical device manufacturer.

Former NASA astronaut and Commander of Expedition 10 on the International Space Station, Leroy Chiao has vast experience in both the public and private sector. In addition to his human spaceflight experience at NASA, he has also worked extensively in academia, government laboratories and in commercial ventures and technology startups. Leroy exercised with SpiraFlex technology for 6 months on the International Space Station and returned stronger than when he left.

                        Larry has 30 years of experience in product development in industries that include fitness equipment, medical, consumer, and robotic systems. He draws on the previous eleven years’ experience in tool and die and factory maintenance to optimize designs and facilitate manufacturing.
