Back in 2019, we had a dream. Craft an exceptional Swiss-made timepiece that can conquer any terrain and thrive in the most challenging conditions.

We always had a tremendous passion for complicated timepieces. And since we are into extreme sports and adventure, we started looking into what the perfect watch would look like that would be able to accompany us during our extreme adventures. We dedicated countless hours, from intricate sketching to meticulous components and material selection. The result? A collection of luxury timepieces that defy the conventional boundaries of adventure, constructed from the finest materials available to withstand any terrain.

The name Parterra combines ‘Par,’ originating from the Old French-Latin word meaning “Through,” with ‘Terra,’ which means “earth.” Parterra encapsulates the heart and soul of what drives us – the thrill of the unknown, the beauty of the unexplored, and the elegance in every moment.

The Ultimate All-Terrain Collection, or UA-T in short, is more than just a luxury watch collection; it is a reflection of an active and adventurous lifestyle. It is designed to be the ultimate timepiece that can endure and excel in any terrain. Whether you’re scaling the highest mountain peaks or exploring the ocean’s depths, Parterra will be your companion out there. The limited UA-T collection consists of 250 numbered pieces per colour.

Lengai Black

Lengai Black encapsulates the untamed spirit of Tanzania’s majestic ‘OI Doinyo Lengai’ volcano. The design mirrors the volcano’s temperament with a captivating black dial adorned with luminous accents.

Hoggar Brown

Hoggar Brown pays homage to the rugged grandeur of the Hoggar mountains. The watch is treated with a rich, warm brown finish, mirroring the natural hues of the mountain range’s rocky slopes.

We crafted Parterra with adventurers like us in mind – those who yearn to discover the world and look for a high-end timepiece that embodies their active lives. We believe high-end luxury timepieces should be durable, extremely well-crafted, and always up for a challenge. That is why our watches are made in Switzerland and proudly carry the “Swiss Made” label, signifying its exceptional craftsmanship and readiness for any adventure.

Precise Swiss-Made S24-SK8 Movement

Our watch features a Swiss S24-SK8 movement based on the renowned ETA 2824-2, celebrated for its exceptional reliability. The ETA 2824-2 movement has been enhanced by replacing some components with superior ones, making it more resistant to magnetic fields, shocks, temperature variations, and increasing its overall durability and precision.

High Stress-resistant Grade 5 Titanium

The UA-T collection is meticulously crafted from Grade 5 titanium, a material that’s revered in advanced industries like aerospace for its exceptional strength, durability, and impressive resistance to corrosion. Its remarkable lightweight nature sets titanium apart; it’s a staggering 40% lighter than stainless steel, delivering a feeling of weightlessness on your wrist. Titanium is especially comforting for sensitive skin, as titanium is naturally hypoallergenic.

There’s no denying that Grade 5 titanium is at the premium end of the spectrum, with a price tag roughly 30 times higher than stainless steel and even double that of Grade 2 titanium — often the choice of other watch brands to cut corners and costs. However, at Parterra, we stand firm in our commitment to prioritizing quality above all else. We believe that exceptional craftsmanship should never be compromised. 
That’s why we’ve chosen Grade 5 titanium for our UA-T collection, ensuring that each timepiece will endure the most extreme adventures.

Durable Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 for Night Reading

To ensure visibility in darkness, Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 has been applied to the hands and dial. BGW9 has a factor of 0.95 on a brightness scale resulting in the most intense light and enhanced readability, even in the most challenging low-light adventures.

The exclusive Ultimate All-terrain Collection will feature a limited run of 250 pieces per colour. Each timepiece will be individually numbered.

Water resistant up to 100 meters/ 10 ATM

To ensure the waterproof integrity of the Parterra, extensive testing is conducted in Switzerland, and a screw-down crown is fitted to guarantee water resistance to depths of up to 100 meters. On the crown’s outer surface, you will find a specially designed grip. This ergonomic feature ensures enhanced grip even in the most adventurous conditions.

Perfect fit for all wrist sizes

Titanium Grade 5 brings an extraordinary featherweight quality to the table. The watch’s case has been meticulously crafted with a particular emphasis on achieving an impeccable fit. Its proportions (48,2 mm lug-to-lug, 43mm bezel, and 13,2 mm thickness) have been thoughtfully designed to seamlessly and snugly envelop your wrist. The collection fits wrist sizes from 16 to 20 cm (6.3-7.83 inches).

We created two kinds of straps – each one for a different kind of adventure. For your most extreme endeavours, we recommend our rubber straps, given their exceptional water resistance. Meanwhile, our fusion Leather straps are the perfect choice for casual occasions, ensuring you always look and feel your best. Additionally, we have designed a travel case to safely store your parterra watch during your adventurous trips.

a)    FKM-rubber straps

Our standard rubber watch straps are crafted in FKM rubber – the pinnacle of both form and function. Our Rubber straps are crafted from highly durable and water-resistant FKM rubber, a material renowned for its resilience and flexibility. Initially designed for the demanding petrochemical industry due to its ability to withstand extreme temperatures (-20°/ +250°), FKM rubber straps are the ideal choice for those seeking durability in harsh environments and extreme weather conditions. They are also perfect for sports and dive watches, providing superior waterproofing compared to silicone straps, all while ensuring unparalleled comfort during wear.

b)    Fusion straps

Our Fusion Leather straps offer a blend of style and substance. These straps combine the strength and water resistance of FKM rubber on the inside with genuine leather on the outside. This fusion of materials creates a versatile accessory that can seamlessly transition from everyday wear to more formal occasions.

c)    Travel case

We have crafted a travel case for each of our four Parterra watch models. The stitching on these travel cases precisely complements the colours of your watch, adding an element of elegance to your travel experience and allowing you to securely store your watch while on the move.

Etch your heartfelt sentiments into your cherished possession, creating a timeless keepsake to treasure. Engrave up to 15 characters on the case back.

This is our first project on Indiegogo. However, during the process of creation and development, we built significant knowledge and experience with our manufacturing partners who all have many years of experience with all aspects relative to (end-to-end) high-quality production. We are aware our project is complex and that there are always unforeseen issues, but we have anticipated and planned for potential risks and have built a rock-solid production and delivery plan.
Firstly, our production is quite advanced, and you can be very confident about our capacity to provide high-quality products on time. We spent over 2 years designing, developing, and receiving finalized samples.
