In the past 18 months, we’ve learned from over 50,000 digital artists what they’re looking for in digital art and note-taking. We are here to innovate and inspire digital creativity by bringing friction and feeling to the digital canvas. We want to give you two new ways to do just that through this Kickstarter campaign.

Every piece of feedback on our main product, PenTips Lite, we worked into PenTips 2. From the desire to have a finer tip to increasing the subtle sense of friction, it’s all here. And when we heard that iPad® users want more choice in the screen protectors, we worked closely with artists and suppliers to deliver a solution that offers the best of both worlds – a clear screen and a gritty feeling. Individually, they’re already wonderful. Together, the feeling is extraordinary.  

We work hard to consistently deliver products that improve the experience of digital note-taking and drawing. In November, this brought us to launching PenPad, our shortcut panel for Procreate, as our first Kickstarter. Today, we need your help again to get PenTips 2 & PenMat to digital artists and note-takers around the world.

•  They’re thin – The design fits flawlessly onto your Apple Pencil®. PenTips 2 doesn’t bulge out or feel like a separate part of your favorite stylus. It’s streamlined and shaped to see what’s happening at the very tip of the tip.
•  They’re durable – A set of PenTips 2 will last you anywhere between 5 months to 2 years. We’ve combed through and tested 50+ types of silicones to find the right balance between friction and longevity.
•  They’re replaceable – This was our customers’ most popular feature request. A solution that would replace Apple’s® Pencil Tip. PenTips 2 screws on and off just as you would expect, and feels even better.
•  They’re transportable – Note-taking and digital art often happen on the go. So we made a storage solution that would let you carry PenTips 2, safely stow away your Apple Pencil® Tips and act as a stand for your Pencil.

•  Reusable – Using the integrated magnetic connection, simply place PenMat on your iPad® when you want to enjoy the matte feeling, or store it in the included sleeve whenever you’d prefer a crystal clear display.
•  Use it outdoors – PenMat naturally diffuses, rather than reflects, a significant portion of sun rays. This allows you to make your next piece or write a note on bright, sunshiny days. You can see clearly now, the glare is gone…
•  Smudge resistant – The matte particles on PenMat are designed to find the right balance between clarity and reducing smudges and fingerprints. No need to constantly wipe down your digital canvas. Focus on what you’re creating.
•  Magnetic application – We’ve integrated magnets that enable you to secure PenMat to your iPad’s® screen without a fuss. The magnets are perfectly aligned to fit your screen size so that PenMat will always look like it belongs.
