The Story… Sort of

After a house-robbery gone wrong, a group of
thieves decide to give it one more go. A house
with a grieving family who has just lost a loved
one… It all goes to Hell.

This is a story the world has yet to see. A bizarre
tale featuring loss, grief, greed, and madness.

Short Summary

We are a Kentucky based team located in Richmond, KY. Over the last
year, we filmed a feature titled The Hunt for August Red for $3,000. Our
goal for the next project is to make something bigger, better, and
something the world has never seen. As filmmakers, and more
importantly, as a business, we are here to thrive in the movie-making
world. We are not here to make something that does not live up to
expectations, and we are most certainly not here to stay stagnant. We
are here to make quality content and something that can live on for
generations to come.

We are a team dedicated to making our dreams a reality. We have never
stood back, and we never stand down. We have always put ourselves
front and center. We have always made sure we make things happen. At
times our road has been tedious, and at times, things have seemed
impossible, but no matter what, we have taken initiative and made them
happen anyway. We care deeply about our careers and we know if we
don’t deliver, new obstacles may arise, and that is a chance we are not
willing to take.

The goal of Pesadilla is to make something entertaining, memorable,
and most importantly, profitable.

Festivals we are interested in are SXSW, Sundance, TIFF, Cannes and any
other big festival we can get our hands on.

If the entire goal isn’t met we plan to bring the total amount received to interested investors with hopes of obtaining remaining budget.

The Impact

Our contribution will help us to make a dream film and show independent film makers all around the world that they can do the same. We previously produced “The Hunt for August Red” on a $3000 budget and we’re ready to show what we are capable of on a larger scale.

Funding is the hardest part of making a film. We were able to overcome the majority of obstacles from the lack of funding during The Hunt for August Red. With our previous experience with common film obstacles such as paying professionals, location scouting etc. and the unwavering support from our city, Richmond, Ky, we are confident that our budget goal will allow us to more easily overcome these obstacles with an even greater outcome
