 You might have seen other portable monitors claim that they are “universally compatible”. What they didn’t tell you is: they require additional streaming devices like Chromecast and WiFi to work with most phones. Even with a Chromecast, other portable monitors’ touchscreen function doesn’t work with your phone, which means you can view the content but cannot control it.

In contrast, our ESM technology enables “reverse controlling” your phone from the big touchscreen or a keyboard/mouse/game controller. 

 

You can touch, draw, or write notes on the 15.6″ multitouch screen, just like you would on an iPad / tablet.

When mirroring your phone content to other portable monitors with the help of a streaming device, your portrait phone content can only be displayed at the center of their landscape screens (with two thick black bars on the sides).

Risks and challenges

We understand that many of you have been burned by other crowdfunding campaigns, which simply can’t deliver products. We are an established company with a history of delivering computer hardware at a large scale in China. We are confident not only in our team, but also our partners, supply chain, and logistics providers. We bring proven experience in designing, manufacturing, and fulfilling products (both crowdsourced and otherwise) to the table.

That said, even the biggest companies have some risks with bringing a new product through production and into the market. A shipping container could get hit by a storm. A natural disaster could take out one of our suppliers. Even in the event of a disaster, we are confident we have the experience and resources to overcome it. COVID-19 previously delayed our production schedule for our PhoneBook product fulfillment, but we beat the challenges presented and went into our final mass production in May.

During the fulfillment of PhonePad on Kickstarter, we updated our backers regularly with our progress and challenges. We know how important communication is, and we pledge to be open and transparent with you to the best of our ability. We also commit to resolving fulfillment issues as rapidly as possible with all our resources.
