I’m trying to raise money to complete a small medical device called the PowerSlider. PowerSlider will move patients from a hospital transfer cart to a hospital bed, and vice versa without requiring human labor. 

Current problem: Currently, we are, as nurses and aids, using physical strength to move patients which leads to severe injuries to the patients and staff due to inconsistent force that is used by multiple staff through the process. The process requires an average of 4 staff members to which they use a different level of force to move the patient and that leads to injuries. 

Solution: The PowerSlider will require only 2 staff members instead of 4. The PowerSlider will use consistent force to move the patient from the hospital transfer cart to the hospital bed, and vice versa in which will reduce the injuries to patients and staff because of the use of power instead of human strength. I currently have 2 US patents (pending) and 1 international patent (pending) on the device.
