Unfortunately, this is not the reality for many educators in Ghana and across Africa. The digital literacy gap is widening, hindering the quality of education and the future prospects of our children.

Did you know that in Ghana alone, only 25% of teachers have basic digital literacy skills? This means that a vast majority of educators lack the necessary knowledge to integrate technology effectively into their teaching methods, limiting the educational opportunities for students.

At Blueshark Technologies Inc., we are on a mission to change this narrative through our Quest Digital Literacy Project supported by our non-for-profit Access Digital Literacy. This June, we are launching a groundbreaking initiative to train over 3500 basic school teachers from six districts across Ghana. These dedicated educators will receive comprehensive training on essential digital skills, including basic computer skills, internet basics, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, distance learning tools, and much more.

Our training programs have already begun to make a significant impact on teaching standards, empowering teachers with essential digital skills and transforming classrooms into dynamic learning environments. However, we cannot do this alone.

We need your support to scale our efforts and reach more teachers in Ghana and across Africa. With your generous contributions, we aim to raise $65,000 to expand our training programs, provide essential resources, and bridge the digital divide in education.
