Riventek was created with a vision in mind; a powerful machine, capable of running any game or software at the highest level of quality possible, focused on affordability, and performance only. A PC without the unnecessary components, where every part is chosen for a reason and tuned to work at its max efficiency while balancing the budget across. A computer where the costumer knows what he is buying, what he is paying and why.

And thus, after several months of hard work, the Qube was born.

The Qube is silent, compact and low profile. This PC, in both its main models (the Qube and the Qube Minus), has been designed from the ground up, to offer the user amazing performance, without any sacrifice.

The design is simple; we have focused on the power of this machine, but we have made sure that the aesthetic remains elegant and low profile. With a black and white design, this is a computer for someone that does not need to buy into the RGB craze that dominates the market, or that would prefer to have a PC that offers all they need without attracting the eyes and ears of everyone.

What makes the Qube unique:

The Qube has been designed from the ground up, and has gone through various prototypes before we achieved the amount of quality and performance that we were looking for.

 From a fully customized water cooling system, to 3D printed parts that improve the airflow and reduce noise, we made sure that the final product looked and performed exactly how we wanted. 

 We have tested the Qube in every scenario that we could, from gaming, to 3D modelling, to media production, to make sure that any kind of user would have the best possible experience the Qube has to offer. No matter what your main use for the Qube is, you will not suffer in terms of noise, temperatures or performance.

What can you find inside the Qubes: 

One of the most important elements when we were building and prototyping the Qube was to offer a perfect blend of high end components and wallet friendly parts. For this, we made sure that looking for cost reduction would not affect the quality and the performance of the Qube, and thus each piece selected for our machines has been chosen with a specific reason in mind. 

Both models, the Qube and the Qube Minus, share the following technical specs:

• CPU – AMD Ryzen 9 3900 – 12 Cores/24 Threads (Overclocked): represents a very good balance between multi-threaded  & single threaded performance. Offers a good balance in productivity and gaming performance, therefore allowing the Qube to be used as both a working and a gaming station.
• GPU – NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti (Overclocked): The most powerful Consumer Graphics Card available. We opted to go for a custom version of this popular GPU provided by Colorful, which offers us a higher level of quality that the mainstream cards in the retail market are not providing, allowing 24/7 workloads.
• RAM – 32/64 GB DDR4 Ballistix Sports LT @3200MHz (Overclocked to 3600MHz): This RAM provided by Crucial, using Micron E-dies, provides record shattering performance at an extremely affordable price.
• Disk – 1TB NVMe SSD: The SSD in the Qubes is also coming from Crucial. It offers an amazing price/performance per GB.
• Power Supply –  750W 80 Plus Gold with no-fan mode and silent fan: The performance of this power supply exceeds the Gold category, being able to provide a Platinum level of efficiency. Furthermore, it is extremely silent.

These are the main components found in the Qube, and they are shared across the two main models in the line, the Qube and its smaller counterpart the Qube Minus.

Furthermore, we have designed brand new parts, and modified existing ones, to make sure that there is no overheating, and that the power offered is always on peak. (More info below)

These components, not only offer an excellent degree of quality and performance, but also work in perfect unison together, offering an even better result when working combined than if each piece was considered separately.

Product Line – Choose your Qube

As mentioned above, we have designed two different models for the Qube.

The Qube and the Qube Minus; In terms of specs, they share the main core components, listed above.

However, what makes them different and unique products is the form factor; The Qube offers a higher degree of expansion and upgrade. Using a bigger case, the Qube allows for expansions such as a 10GB LAN card, a 4K capture card, Thunderbolt 3 and others. Furthermore, the bigger case allows for extra storage and even less noise.

The Qube Minus, in the other hand offers a smaller size, while keeping the full power. Everything fits in a mere 22 litres of volume. It offers an even lower profile, easy to fit on top of a desk or to move around. Not only that, but the Minus keeps the same promises as the mainstream Qube; noise and temperatures will never be of issue for Qube Minus users, and they should not have any problems in regards of storage capabilities.

These two models make it so one can choose what works better with them. The Qube Minus becomes a highly portable tiny super computer, whereas the Qube offers a bigger level of expansion and customisation.

• We choose the ASRock X570M Pro4  which is almost the unique micro-ATX board, with good reviews and  a very good VRM for Ryzen 3900, compact but with plenty of expandability:  8 SATA Ports (we can fit 6 SATA disks on the Qube case), 2x NVMe 4.0 Slots, 3x PCI 4.0 Slots, Thunderbolt 3 AIC expansion connector, 8 USB ports, PCIe M.2 Wifi Slot (Occupied by the WiFi Module).

Qube Minus

• Mini-ITX format – compact size with a lot of internal space for storage
• Full Custom Water-cooling Loop, with integrated pumps in the CPU & GPU blocks
• Space for storage disks: 2×3.5”/2.5”, 2×2.5″ trays, 1xNVMe SSD M.2 slot (Occupied byt Boot Disk)
• 32 GB Memory of DDR4 OC@3600MHz
• 1TB NVMe SSD as Boot disk ( 2000 MB/s R / 1700MB/s W )
• We have chosen the B450 Platform as it offers the best bang for the buck for Ryzen with no loose in performance at all and perfect option for Ryzen 3000.  It includes only 4 SATA ports for disks which is our maximum capacity in the Qube Minus case.
• ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac : mini-ITX factor,  very good reviews and also very well positioned in the VRMs tier list, with integrated WiFI 

Custom made components and modifications

We have created and modified components, to get an even better performance out of our machines:

•  VRM cooler: To solve one of the biggest issues with water cooling, that is an overheating of the Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) due to not enough cooling, we have designed and created a special part to focus the airflow above the VRM

•  Quick Connect system for the Water Cooling: to facilitate the filling, testing and setup of our full custom water loop, we adapted the idea of Quick Connect used by major brands of water cooling. We improved upon the existing design, making them smaller, and thus easier to install.

•  Case Modding: In order to fit enough radiators for the custom water loop of the Qube Minus, we have modded the Thermaltake Core V1 to fit 2 copper radiators of 140mm x 45mm.
• Professional system overclocking: In order to squeeze every bit of performance out of the chosen hardware, the CPU, memory and GPU have been tuned to not only provide a performance increase but also to extend the longevity and reliability of the hardware.*

* We are aware that overclocking hardware can be considered as dangerous and harmful for the components. Thus we spent many hours and resources making sure that our tuning not only doesn’t damage the pieces, but in fact improves on their durability.

This is the Riventek Qube: peak performance out of the box, without sacrifices.

So, who is the Qube for?

The Qube is for a consumer that wants a powerful, compact and silent PC, with a low profile design. Someone that wants high quality components, with a price that makes sense, and the best performance straight out of the box.

We believe that currently in the market there is nothing quite like the Qube and the Qube Minus at the same price point. These computers were designed by people that love technology, but that don’t seem to find a product that fits them properly. And we think that there might be more of us out there, that would appreciate the design, the attention to detail, and the uncompromised power that we offer with our new line of PCs.

With this Kickstarter we aim to collect enough money to be able to launch our computers to the market. Our prototypes have been tried and thoroughly tested, and we believe that the Qubes are ready to join the technological world.

In this Kickstarter you can find several tiers. Each individual tier offers something that has been designed by us for the Qube, such as one of the custom 3D printed parts with our logo on it or a specially designed motherboard kit from us. We did this because we understand that not everybody out there might be interested in a complete, new PC. But some of you might be interested in the things that we have created in order to make these machines possible.

With this, we aim to have something for every backer, as to make sure that anybody that believes in us gets something to show you our appreciation.
