Extensive User Testing and Iterative Design

We aimed to create a robot pet small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, with captivating, watery big eyes that would melt the hearts of female users. By comparing various prototypes with different facial shapes, eye sizes, camera placements, and ear positions, we conducted extensive user testing. After multiple iterations, Design No. 6 emerged as the most adorable and heartwarming choice.

From Prototype to Production: A Challenging Journey

Transforming a cute idea into a tangible product took over two years of hard work, from sketching concepts to completing most of the design and production development. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to fit such a complex robotic structure into a compact space while delivering rich sensory and computing capabilities. Of course, the most critical part was ensuring it looked irresistibly cute and felt soft and approachable.
