SDS ULTRA PLUS – Mini Electric Drill Pen with Hedgehog Benchtop Press makes crafts easier and more enjoyable!

After the design of SES PRO won the Red Dot “2021 Innovative Product Design Award”, We launched the SGS series and SDS series.

Back in the day, bringing your creative visions to life was mostly a pipe dream that could only become a reality if you had resources or connections with people in the industry. Fortunately, it’s much easier to get started today, and while you do still need to save up for the right tools, those won’t require taking out huge loans anymore. 

3D printing has made creation a lot easier, but it isn’t the only tool you’ll need for crafts and projects. There will be times when you’ll need to bore holes into materials and objects, and that’s where this drill and press duo comes in, providing a portable yet powerful tool to make your designs come alive in the real world in a simple yet effective way.

SDS ULTRA is suitable for thinner materials such as wood, acrylic, plastic, aluminum, coins, PCB, Craft Carving, Jewelry Making, and DIY.

You might think you need something like a bulky power tool just to put holes in parts and materials, and that may be true for larger or thicker pieces, especially metal, but not all crafts use those. For smaller or thinner materials, especially those that need finer precision, a smaller drill will be more efficient. Fortunately, that’s exactly what the SDS ULTRA brings to the table.

The pen-sized mini drill that you can use any time you need to put a hole into something. Its rounded rectangular shape makes it easy to hold in your hand and ensures that it won’t roll off tables when you put it down. Made of aluminum alloy one-piece CNC, OLED display, RPM selection button, single power button, lightweight and functional construction.

We redesigned the new circuit board, perfect the control software, chose a stronger motor, increased the operating voltage, and optimized the output of SDS ULTRA, it boasts a top speed of 600RPM, and different modes to lower the speed as needed down to 300RPM. An easy-to-use switch lets you switch modes.

SDS ULTRA is with LiPo of 500mAh, which is 40% higher than similar products. At the same, SDS ULTRA is 30% more torque to a maximum of 2.3 kgf. cm. Improving its efficiency by drilling through different holes, working for 3 hours, and extending the working time.

The OLED gives users of dynamic display of the charging status. USB-C port is convenient for you to charge at any time.

And unlike any mini drill, the SDS ULTRA has four shadow-less LED lights that let you see your target more clearly.

Holding the electric drill pen in your hand might be fine for some processes or materials, but if you need a more stable surface to work on, the SDS ULTRA PLUS also has you covered. It comes with a Hedgehog Benchtop Drill Press when you need more control and accuracy in where to put those. The press’s adjustable height and multi-angle 360-degree pinpoint rotating head offer the utmost convenience to crafters and makers.

The Benchtop Drill Press is made of aviation aluminum alloy material which has been precisely machined. It increases the stability of the job and ensures high-quality finishing to your work. The aviation alloy is the corrosion resistance and maintains strength to improve production efficiency.

Users can freely adjust the gap between the drill bit to the bottom plate from 33mm to 83mm.  There is a total of 50mm length for users to adjust to fit their needs.

The holder rotates up to 180° to drill, polish, sand, and more at any angle. Users can switch the drill angle to +/- 15, 30, 45, 90, or 180 degrees are used for tasks such as polishing metal objects, sanding different shapes, and sanding metal pieces. This is convenient for users to drill from an angle they need, especially the angled holes. There are precise location points on the specially designed CNC Aluminium disc, through the marble structure, users can pinpoint the angle, and drill with a precise angle. First-ever 360 degrees rotational CNC Chamfer aluminum benchtop drill press, a Multi-directional adjustment angle helps users do projects efficiently, and convenience users to drill holes with the SDS series, or sand with the SGS series in different ways.

 The drill press isn’t just a place to hold your drill, though. It also has dedicated slots for ten drill bits so that you can easily pick and swap the bit you need right then and there.

When the work is done, you can easily stash the SDS ULTRA drill pen and its bits inside a CNC Alloy Storage Box that you can slip into your bag or even your pocket. You never have to be limited to doing work in a sequestered workshop or room, waiting for the perfect opportunity to start drilling.

The storage box has a pop-up switch to facilitate the storage and management of different drill accessories. You press again and the bits pop out a bit. So they don’t side out when you are not looking, there is a window so you can see the drill is in there and not left on the workbench.

The bits hold in the case magnetically, so you don’t have to make sure they snap in. Magnetized drill bit storage makes it convenient to manage.

The precision drill set is equipped with 10 different sizes of bits, ranging from 0.6mm to 2.2mm with a 2.35mm diameter shaft. The drill bits are made from titanium-coated steel for high wear resistance and low friction coefficient, making them ideal for working with wood, aluminum, plastic, or even circuit boards.

It is equipped with a special drill bit fastening design, which makes it easy and quick to replace the drill bit without any tools, saving time.

SDS series gets its patented technology, it will auto-switch to manual mode when the electric mode does not have enough rpm to drill, better user experience and making SDS more applicable.
