We tested the SHARGE Disk on MacBook Pro and you can see the real SHARGE Disk in the video.

We purchased most of the SSD enclosures on the market that are compatible with the 2230 model SSD to conduct a 100GB mixed file read and write test and five consecutive rounds of 64GB mixed file read and write tests.

After the test, we found that the ultra-small enclosure is difficult to have enough space for cooling and reduce the temperature of the SSD. The temperature of almost all SSDs is around 70°C, and high temperatures are fatal to SSDs.

In this video, we have tested SHARGE Disk’s Active Heat Dissipation System and file transfer speed twice(We recommend that you watch in full screen for better video quality).

• Test 1: 100GB mixed file read/write test （00:00~01:22）
• Test 2: 5 consecutive rounds of 64GB mixed file read/write test （01:22~02:24）

After two rounds of testing, the SHARGE Disk remained around 50°, which is 15°C~20°C cooler than other brands of SSD Enclosure, and the transfer speed did not decrease.

The maximum fan noise currently does not exceed 32dB, which is a very small sound to the human ear and is not uncomfortable.

We are still continuing to reduce the fan noise and we hope to bring it down to less than 20dB.
