We utilized PowerZ, a 3rd-party hardware device, to assess the output power of the Shargeek 140. The power readings on both the Shargeek 140’s screen and the PowerZ were nearly identical.
When charging the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Shargeek 140 delivers up to 26W of output.
When charging a laptop, Shargeek 140 provides a maximum output of 85W.
Actual charging power may vary due to the charging protocol of the device and power loss through the charging cable.
Input Charging Test
We tested the input power of Shargeek 140 using our 140W charger and the Multi Protocol PD Power Load Meter.
Considering power loss through the charging cable, the maximum input power displayed on the Shargeek 140’s screen was 64.5W.
Protection Features Test
We rigorously tested Shargeek 140 in terms of charging safety, and the following comprehensive tests ensure Shargeek 140 power bank’s safety and reliability under most operating conditions, maintaining product quality and user safety.
Input Protection: Validates the internal circuitry’s ability to safeguard against damage from excessively high or low input voltage/current.
Output Protection: Assesses the power bank’s capability to deactivate power supply to prevent damage to connected devices in case of abnormalities.
Short-circuit Protection: Simulated an artificial short circuit at the output port to confirm the effectiveness of internal protection mechanisms in avoiding damaging devices.
ESD Protection: Utilized an electrostatic discharge gun to subject the power bank to electrostatic charges, ensuring its resilience against component damage from electrostatic discharge.
Fire Resistance Test
We use the best flame-retardant V0 grade PC manufactured by Bayer from Germany to produce the transparent enclosure of the Shargeek 140. To achieve the V0 fire resistance rating, it needs to pass the UL 94 test standard and meet the following conditions:
* Burning time requirement: In the combustion test, the single burning time must not exceed 10 seconds, and the total of the two burning times must not exceed 50 seconds.
* No burning dripping: During the burning process, the tested sample must not produce any dripping that continues to burn.
* No smoke combustion process: During the burning process, the tested sample must not produce any sustained smoke combustion phenomenon.
* No vertical burning: When the sample is placed vertically, the burning area must not exceed 127mm (5 inches) from the bottom of the sample.
