THE STORY

What if America’s most prolific founding father found himself trapped inside a VR program controlled by A.I.? From award-winning illustrator and writer SEAN SALTER and writer CHARLES KNAUF (Iron Man: Civil War)—Silence DoGood— a young Benjamin Franklin is ripped from his own timeline and trapped inside a VR program run by artificial intelligence designed by one of America’s largest tech companies. Which happens to be in the middle of a corporate war between two other global tech companies, all vying for wealth, power, and control. ​​​​​​​

In a world dominated by robots, people look for escape within virtual worlds, as society is “guided” by artificial intelligence. Ben is now faced with a decision that will not only change his life, but will challenge his core beliefs, and could ignite America’s first revolution. 

THE TEAM

SALTY! aka Sean Salter, is a creator, writer, and illustrator on SILENCE DOGOOD. An award winning writer & illustrator, SALTY! has worked in the entertainment world for 20+ years and is making his debut into comics with SILENCE DOGOOD.

ALLEN RHODES is a co-creator & writer on the SILENCE DOGOOD series, Allen has been a writer on the animated series THE GARDEN.

CHARLES KNAUF is a writer on SILENCE DOGOOD. He is a veteran in the comic book world writing for such titles like IRON MAN: CIVIL WAR. 

BRETT R. SMITH is the colorist on SILENCE DOGOOD. He has been a coloring comics for such companies as DC and Marvel for over 20 years and brings a ton of experience to the SILENCE DOGOOD team. 

PATRICK SALTER is a consultant on SILENCE DOGOOD. An American Historian, Patrick Salter is the historical consultant for SILENCE DOGOOD and writer of the short lessons in American History.

MIKE BARON is a consultant and contributor to SILENCE DOGOOD. A comic book legend, Mike Baron has written for such books as THE PUNISHER, NEXUS, and a slew of other big hits. 

THE BOOK

The SILENCE DOGOOD series will be 13 issues that form 4 full color graphic novels. Each graphic novel will feature 90+ pages of storytelling. Accompanied by lots of extras; including short lessons about the historical times in which Ben Franklin travels to, sketchbooks, concept art, maps, and other fun goodies. 

Issues 1 through 3:  

• 30 plus pages per issue

Softcover Graphic Novel:

• 100+ pages
• Full color
• Over 90 full color pages of storytelling
• Additional pages of background story, history, concept at, and other behind the scenes

Hardcover Graphic Novel:

• 150+ pages
• Full color
• Over 90 full color pages of storytelling
• TONS of additional content. Alternate cover art inside, sketchbook, maps, history lessons, concept art, and other behind the scene content
• If we are able to make stretch goals, alternate covers, foils stamping, etc. will become available.

RELEASE DATE

Interior art will be completed by Winter 2024. Printing is scheduled for Early Spring and shipping will begin late march, 2024.

STRETCH GOALS

$100k: Alternate covers will become available 

$150k: Special limited edition foil stamped covers will become available. 

$300k: Special guest artists will be commissioned to illustrate new posters and even more alternate cover art. The illustrated posters can be purchased as an add-on. They will also be added in the “extras” section for the hardcover books. This will also guarantee Vol II. coming out late 2024. 

$500k: The team will design and develop a series of action figures to be sold as an add-on.
