The Steelix Cable is made of zinc alloy, oxygen-free copper, nylon TPE. The Oxygen-free copper is used as the copper core inside. The conductor has high purity, low resistance, and stable physical properties, which can have a higher practical life. The manufacture of oxygen-free copper often requires better quality raw materials, so its price in the market is relatively high.

This is not the first time we created the campaign, but we are still very excited to release our new project. Thank you very much to the backers who have supported our project. Only with your help can we have new ideas.

Some backers might be curious about what we upgraded from the last product-ONIX, here it is:

1) Fix the remaining problems: Consumers have responded before that our adapters are easy to fall after plugging and unplugging more times. So we reinforced the adapter, unless you violently disassemble it, the adapter will not fall by itself. At the same time, we reduced the thickness of the adapter and added spacers on both sides of the interface shaft to make the insertion and removal smoother.

We hope that our existence will enable consumers to have the ultimate experience when using electronic products, and make TEchnology the maGIC in your hands. (This is also the source of TEGIC)

In January 2019, our first product came out, this is a multi-functional data cable, we call it ONIX CABLE.

We designed a dual-head four-interface data cable. It is no exaggeration to say that such a clever design is our original creation (it has been imitated and never surpassed). We also launched crowdfunding on Kickstarter. There was no publicity or warm-up, but we did not expect to get a large number of supporters.

Maybe you don’t know, since the first ONIX CABLE came out in January 2019, we have upgraded it 4 times so far. We have upgraded its performance and feel to the extreme that we can do. We call the evolution of ONIX STEELIX (just like the evolution of ONIX in Pokémon is STEELIX).

Today, we bring the ultimate evolution version of Steelix to launch the crowdfunding. We hope that when you use it, you can also exclaim “WOW”.

Risks and challenges

The biggest reason why we chose to develop Steelix is that Type-C is the future for life. This future is inseparable from the past. It means that we still cannot do without the old iPhone. They have not upgraded the Lightning port, which leads us to put a Lightning on the C port; at the same time, there are too many USB-A females at home.口——The existence of the Xiaomi charging pad, the ancestral 5W from the iPhone or the charging plug from other mobile phones cannot be erased. The past is not compatible with the future. It means that we can’t use the past chargers to charge our iPad, MacBook, or other new laptops. We can’t use USB-A to Type-C to charge new products, USB-A to Lightning. It is also impossible to use the new PD protocol. We made this product because I didn’t want to find that I couldn’t charge my old iPhone while using my MacBook and new iPad. I don’t want to complain and feel restless when I see that there is no quick charging interface when I am used to fasting charging. I also hope that when my friends need the data charging cable, I can share it with them, but it will not fail to match because of the inconsistent models and the inconsistent charging equipment. The above is my original intention to make this product.
