Hidden battery – detachable for easy charging
STRØM CITY M 2.0 comes with a 10,4 Ah LG battery that is hidden inside the lower frame. The integrated locking system makes it easy to detach for charging in approximately 3-4 hours.
With our standard 10.4 Ah (375 Watt-hours) LG battery, you get a range of up to 60 km/38 miles. Or upgrade to our 14Ah (504 Watt-hours) “GO Further” LG battery and get up to 80 km/50 miles.
Integrated lighting system
STRØM CITY M 2.0 comes with a fully integrated lighting system that starts at the push of a button. This lighting system makes your rides safer and more convenient with brake lights and multi-blinking functions. Say goodbye to lost or stolen bike lights and hello to peace-of-mind commuting.
New powerful & silent motor
Take advantage of up to 400 Watt* of electric motor power with our new improved motor, which can take you from 0 to 35 km/h* in a matter of seconds. The mini rear motor is built to be durable, powerful, and silent. Choose between a 250W (EU model 25 kmh/15mph) or 400W (US model 32 kmh/20mph) motor.
Displays
STRØM CITY comes with an LED display that allows you to adjust to 6 different assist levels (1-5) and shows the battery level. It also features a fully integrated USB charging system, so you can charge your mobile device “on the go”. Or you can upgrade to our intelligent computer display, which shows battery level, assist level, distance, trip meter, speed in km/h or mph, and more.
Automatic drive function (US model only)
The automatic drive function (turbo throttle) allows you to ride fully electric without using the pedal assist. Please note that this function is only available on our US version, as current legislation does not permit the throttle function in most European countries.
Puncture-proof tires
There is nothing more discouraging while out biking than hearing that distinctive hiss from a tire. Say goodbye to flat tires and hello to STRØM CITY M 2.0’s puncture-proof tires.
Plug and play wires
We have an innovative screw wire system that will make you able to switch our components quickly. The system is IP68 waterproof. A smart system for remote repairs and new accessories.
Disc brake system
STRØM CITY M 2.0 is installed with dual disc brakes to ensure quick and reliable braking power. The 160 mm are preferred on modern bikes. We have installed a direct cut-off on the breaks for a complete motor kill when you brake for extra safety.
7 Speed Shimano
We install our City M 2.0 with a 7-speed gearing system from Shimano. In our mind, an e-bike should be a flexible transportation choice and not only limited to riding with electricity. The 7-speed gear is great for commuting with zero electric assists on days looking for more exercise on the bike.
Ergonomic grips & saddle
A well-shaped Selle Royal Havoc saddle matching the quality grips ergonomic grips. The ergonomic medium-wide shape saddle adds to the comfortable experience. We have also added a convenient handle in the back excellent for parking the bike.
Danish design & quality
The component has been carefully selected to ensure your e-bike will last for years. Our bikes are made of carefully selected components and materials – We use 6160 aircraft grated aluminium and stainless steel to avoid rust of any kind.
Add-ons
Colour Displays upgrade (139 euros)
STRØM Colour display full of specs, tech and cool features.
The display comes with speedometer, avarage speed, minimum speed, total distance meter, percentage battery level, time and setup of personal password.
It aslo have a build in test center for bike health. You also have the option to customize the assist levels with direct bike access and remove limits.
Hydraulic suspension fork (139 Euros)
For the ultimate comfortable city ride. Feel the suspension working underneath making holes and uneven surfaces seem a lot smoother.
Our good looking suspesion is coming with a hydraulic system making it durable and easy to ride.
Suspension fork is reccomended for everyone but especially for people with weak wrist shoulders and back.
14 AH “Go further” battery upgrade (80 euros)
Upgrade to our 14 Ah “Go further” upgrade for longer biking trips. The battery have 504 watt hours with up to 80 km on a single charge.

Based on feedback from our previous customers, and years of test and trial with our products, our experienced team have made a wide range of upgrades from the first version to our newest version City M 2.0
2.0 packaging implemented
A crucial element in delivering great e-bikes are protecting our bikes from factory being shipped direct to you.
We don’t accept shipping damages, our design team has drop-tested our packaging from 10 different angels from more than 1 meter in the air to make sure your bike arrives safe and sound.
External Quality Control
Being a young developing company, we have once more realized how important Quality control is. On our last campaigns, a lot of issues could have been avoided with a higher QC level. Therefore we have hired a Quality control team to test our e-bikes.
Quality control will now be extended to electric ride test, paint approval, assembly approval, and add-ons inbox control before shipping bikes out.
We will financially reward our quality team for bikes delivered successfully and fines for bikes not delivered successfully being passed on to our backers.

STRØM Bikes is the brainchild of entrepreneur Nichlas Lloyd (age 30).
Nichlas is in charge of industrial design and production spending more than 3+ years in factories all over Asia designing unique components for our lights, frames, and all the way down to our custom screw wires connecting our e-bike system.
When saying STRØM you must say Indiegogo, as our story has been closely connected to crowdfunding from the very beginning.
STRØM Bikes started in November 2016 when we designed our first FATBIKE model, which later raised more than $450,000 here on Indiegogo out of a campaign goal of $40,000.
The City M was launched in 2018 raising more than $2.050.000 million on Indiegogo and the support of almost 2000 backers.
Our latest member of the family City W – a step-through e-bike – was launched in 2020 and raised more than $2,200.000 bringing 2000 new STRØM Bikes out in the streets.

What is a turbo throttle?
A turbo thumb throttle is an automatic speeder featured on the US model that allows you to run fully electric when the throttle is pushed. The thumb throttle is not permitted on the EU model due to current European legal requirements.
What is the pedal-assist?
Pedal-assist is featured on both models and allows you to choose between 6 levels of assist from the electric motor (0-5). The electric pedal assist kicks in as soon as you start pedaling.
What size do I need?
STRØM City M comes in 2 sizes. We offer a medium model (160-180) and a large model (180-210 CM)
Can I buy the US model if I don’t live in the US?
Yes. We deliver both models worldwide. Please note, however, that the US model is not legal in most European countries. Please check your country’s legislation before purchasing.
What’s the warranty?
2 years electronic warranty, 5 years frame warranty, 30.000 hour light guarantee & Delivery guaranteed.
How can you sell your e-bike at such a low price?
We’re selling our e-bike at a significant discount to ensure we can start up production. We can sell STRØM CITY at this affordable price, because you are buying directly from us (the manufacturer) and skipping all intermediaries
Can everybody get a 50 % discount?
No. This is a strictly limited offer available ONLY on Indiegogo for a short period of time. The price will rise to the expected retail price after the campaign.
Where is the battery located and how do I charge it?
The battery is located inside the frame to achieve a streamlined look. However, it is detachable, so you can remove it from the frame and charge it at home, the office or wherever you happen to be. You can also charge the battery while it is attached to the bike.
Please note that the actual distance varies from your battery size pick and different factors like temperature, weight, driving habits and more.
Can the bike handle my weight?
The bike is tested to handle riders up to 130 kg (286 pounds)
Do you offer test-rides?
We offer test rides in Copenhagen and occasionally other parts of Denmark. Contact us by email to ride@stroembikes.com to book an appointment. We will also be hosting demo days in bigger cities in Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden and Germany. We will be scheduling the events on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/stroembikes/
We hope to be able to offer test rides and demonstrations in other countries in the future.
How is the bike delivered?
The e-bike is delivered almost fully assembled. An easy-to-follow assembly video guide is included. If you don’t like to do it yourself we recommend you to bring it to your local bike dealer – they will put it together for aprox. 50 Euros including adjustments to brakes and gear.
What about spare parts and repairs?
All parts on the e-bike can be bought at our online store at an affordable price. In case something happens to your bike, we’ve produced a selection of helpful video tutorials on how to fix the most common issues.

We charge a 25 Euro VAT invoice charge, that is forwarded to import invoices and collection of the amount to payment provider.
What is your refund policy?
We are subject to Indiegogo’s refund policy. Click here to read more about refunds.
When production has been placed we keep the rights to hold back refunds until the bike is delivered in copehagen, as the money has already been put towards production. In some cases we will make the refund before arrival if cash flow allows us to.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day money back guarantee when you have received your bike if you are not satisfied. If you decide to return your bike it must be in new and resellable condition. The bike must be returned to our warehouse and the shipping cost must be covered by you.
Please note: A 15% refund charge will be applied as they will be lost to Indiegogo as a platform and administration fee.
