A modern black horror film dedicated to my late brother and those who’ve been lead astray.
First off, to whomever is reading this, I hope you’re well and enjoying the holidays. My name is Jermaine T. Jackson and I’d like to welcome you to my feature campaign. The film I’m going to tell you about isn’t some otherworldly concept like zombies, aliens, or ghost. It’s a film about what hate can do to a young mind and how that emotion corrupts and cripples everything it touches.
T is a horror story at its core. It follows the journey of a teen hitman as he makes his way through a kill list given to him by his mentor. As the bodies pile up, he questions why these people were chosen and why their appearance plays a part.
I dedicated this film to my older brother Taurean, who passed away when I was fifteen. He was like a second father to me and his absence left a void in my life. As a young teen, it was easier to grasp the feeling of hate than sorrow and for a time, hate was all I knew. Eventually, I began to channel my rage into writing and used that negative energy in a more productive manner. This story is the first of many about pain and the dangers of allowing hate to rule your life.

FUNDS –
Everyone who is involved in this project is working at a discounted rate because I’m putting everything I have on the line and it’s still not enough. As someone who has worked manual labor jobs for over a decade. I want to make sure that hardworking people are paid what they deserve. These numbers are rounded up to account for fees and taxes. Additional funds will go to the production of the film.
If we fall short of the goal, the funds will be distributed amongst the production crew and cast first before locations, rental, or travel.
$20,000 to production crew (AD, DP, PA, DIT, Gaffer, Sound, Lights, Hair + Make-up)
$6,000 to cast (Actors, Supporting Actors, Extras)
$5,000 to locations and potential permits (private properties, street closures)
$5,000 to rental home for cast and crew (15 days in city home)
$3,000 to cover travel (gas, train fare)
$11,000 – the remaining funds will be put towards editing which unfortunately won’t cover all expenses. However, with this money we would be able to cut a trailer and get some teasers out while the finished product is being worked on.
The Impact
With a primarily black cast and crew, donations are a contribution to black art and those who want to see more of it. The message of the film goes beyond the surface level of race relations in America but why it’s important to not just blindly follow any rhetoric without questioning the messenger.
Cheers,
– Jackson
