My name is Giorgis [your-geese] Despotakis. I am a U.S. born, Athens-raised, non-binary playwright and am raising funds for my theatrical project TERAΣ – presented at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles in the spring of 2025, and directed by Tatou Dede.

This play was first written in 2017, when the world felt significantly different… 

Since, TERAΣ has grown along with the times, in the hands of Greek director Tatou Dede. Under her direction, we developed the text, cast the piece and conducted a November 2024 workshop getting TERAΣ seaworthy.  And it is your financial support that will be the wind our sails.

Now, we are ready to share our work with the world. We have our cast and collaborators set to head into rehearsals and production, respectively, in order to make our debut at the Odyssey, this Spring. I am extremely excited and grateful to have the passionate work of the TERAΣ team and that’s why I am reaching out to the queer and theatre-loving communities for your support.
