In 2020, after waiting 10 months to finally get my Tesla Model 3, I felt as if I had a spaceship that could move as I wished. Even the little time I spent picking up and dropping off my kids turned into an exciting time, and even the time I spent in the car while it was charging felt luxurious and special.

Tesla has updated my values and changed my life.

So I started MODUFY with the idea of making the time spent in Tesla even more enriching.

Throughout the design process, we generated numerous ideas to enhance both Tesla’s affinity for interiors and the design quality of the product.

We collaborated tirelessly with automotive mechanics to design high-quality products that embody meticulous attention to detail.

We created a sample model that closely resembled the final product, conducted over 10 months of rigorous operational tests, and implemented numerous improvements along the way.

MODUFY uses recyclable materials for product packaging, eliminating plastic and virgin forest fibers to the greatest extent possible. We registered as a partnership with prAna®, which actively works to eliminate packaging waste worldwide. 

Our team is working earnestly to ensure the success of the project and the resolution
of issues. We work with our talented teams in Japan and the U.S. to minimize risk through
proper planning and to take prompt preventative action when problems arise.
We are also committed to providing status reports to our supporters, as appropriate, to
ensure transparency in the progress of the project.

MANUFACTURING
This product was developed in collaboration with experienced product designers,
automotive mechanics, and manufacturing partners with extensive experience in
manufacturing wireless charging devices. Over a 6 month process, we have conducted
various operational tests and modifications of this product. All design, engineering and
testing was carried out in Japan.

By working closely with our manufacturing partners and adding third-party inspection
companies, we have ensured that the product is shipped in perfect condition.

QUALITY CONTROL
Since MODUFY is a premium product, we contracted with a well-known Japanese testing
laboratory. After the project is completed, we will manufacture the product for testing from the
mold. We maintain high quality standards by conducting various tests at Japanese
examination inspection and analysis laboratories.

LOGISTICS
To ensure safe delivery to our supporters around the world, we have contracted with
reliable logistics companies and will do our best to deliver products safely and on time.
Due to the fact that COVID-19 is still in the process of being fully concluded, delivery may
be delayed due to unexpected circumstances.

If such an eventuality occurs, we promise to explain the situation to our supporters
accordingly.
