The martial arts limited series with heart is looking for funding to film its Second Episode.
Honor, respect, loyalty, community…
These are not just words. They are the core values that are important to cultivate and live by in order to maximize our own quality of life.
This extends not only to the fictional world of cinematography but to our everyday lives as well, because this is the reality we live in and we all have just one chance to do it right.
The Dojo, a limited series, is an example of such values being applied to life and is a story about personal moral struggles we all can relate to.

LOGLINE
…It all started when the Sensei of a traditional martial arts Dojo passed away, leaving his students to continue his legacy. Soon after, the Dojo is forced to confront a recently opened nearby MMA School. Now the Dojo must not only fight for what they believe in but also fight for their very survival…
Our Intentions
From the heart of Los Angeles, California, where big movie studios and filmmakers are cooking up high-budget blockbusters, we, as a group of young and talented professionals, are searching for ways to stay independent in order to make our very own projects, create unique and inspiring content, and contribute to the movie industry by presenting our own approach to filmmaking.
We’d like to serve as an inspiration and create opportunities for other up-and-coming actors, directors, and producers, as well as to set an example of a high-quality production with a healthy and collaborative environment. The values that have to be brought up to every project and on every production set.
Our team
What is unique to this project is that our principal and background actors are real martial artists, with comprehensive experiences and backgrounds in KungFu, Taekwondo, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Wrestling, and even Pro-Wrestling. They all are performing their own stunts and masterfully presenting their artistic fight choreography skills on camera.
Members of our crew are young and ambitious film school graduates who have proven themselves as talented and professional filmmakers and we are gladly taking the opportunity to continue working together on this project as the Pilot episode has proven to be a creative showpiece.
Welcome to The Dojo Family!
We are very proud of the very first Pilot episode we collectively managed to film and put together on a modest budget as a proof of concept, and we are eager to share it with you!
And now we are truly inspired to continue The Dojo with the Second Episode by taking the story further with more character development, more drama, more values, and more awesome martial art fights! And for that, we need a more substantial budget.
If you enjoyed watching our trailer and want to see the full Pilot of The Dojo, please support us with $10 or more and we’ll send you a link to the full Pilot episode.
If you enjoyed the Pilot and want to help us create the Second Episode of The Dojo, please check out the perks and find the way you’d like best to pledge.
