The Eagle Obsession has been filming since mid-2023. Now, you can help us complete the journey.

The project is a fun and visually-stunning feature-length documentary that follows Writer / Director Jeffrey Morris as he embarks on an engaging personal journey to explore the origins and enduring love of the iconic Eagle Transporter from the legendary British sci-fi series Space: 1999.

Simultaneously, he takes viewers back to the unforgettable trailblazing era when people walked on Moon—both in real life and in science fiction—while also providing a glimpse into our exciting future in space. 

To date, the production has filmed engaging interviews in the United States, Canada, England, and Denmark. In addition to recreating spectacular visual effects shots of the Eagle and key locations from Space: 1999, the producers have financed and supervised a 100%-accurate reconstruction of the legendary Eagle Cockpit at Pinewood Studios in London.

At present, The Eagle Obsession is targeted for a limited theatrical debut in late 2025 followed by an exclusive distribution via a top-tier streaming service. 

Over the past year, we’ve privately financed nearly 50% of the production. A sample of the results can be seen in the video above. With filming currently scheduled in Arizona, California, and Texas during the Spring of 2024, maintaining our momentum is crucial. We intend to continue conducting interviews at stunning locations with an intriguing group of celebrities—including the legendary Barbara Bain and a number of surprise guests currently in negotiation.

In order to capture our remaining footage, we require a minimum of $50,000. The funds will be used to hire film crews, pay for insurance and location permits, and secure travel to and from the various locations.

If we raise more than $100,000, funds will be applied toward the creation of additional sets, costumes, and digital elements for a shoot on a virtual stage in England. There, we will recreate stunning locations from Space: 1999 for a series of nostalgic flashbacks.

Tier 1 – $25

Tier 2 – $50

Tier 4 – $500

Assistant Producer – $1,500

Associate Producer – $2,500

Risks & Challenges

The Eagle Obsession has been thoroughly planned with detailed budgets and schedules. However, there could be unforeseen delays that could slow down production. In addition, one or more of the individuals we plan to interview for the film or one or more of the service providers we intend to use for producing the film may become unavailable causing us to incur unexpected costs or delays. Lastly, as we intend to film in multiple locations, travel restrictions (such as those experienced during the initial COVID-19 outbreak) may interfere with our plans.
