Grow nutritious healthy produce in your home with The Eden or The Eboo, vertical aeroponic gardens.

Story

How We Got Here

You are saving the planet one bite at a time. To get our first 250 units out the door, we need to raise $100,000.00 from those who can see that the future is already here and we have only one planet.

A Legacy of Hydroponics Expertise

Dan’s journey began 30 years ago, and throughout this time, he has been dedicated to the art of hydroponics. From experimenting with contained agricultural systems to cultivating plants in containers, greenhouses, and indoor wall units, Dan’s expertise has grown with each endeavour. However, the demand for smaller yet equally productive gardening solutions for homes, apartments, and condos led to a 2.5-year journey of prototyping and testing, culminating in The Eden Project.

The Eden Project: Where Style Meets Sustainability

The Eden and The Eboo, our flagship products, represent the perfect blend of functionality and style. Crafted from sustainable and recyclable bamboo, these indoor vertical aeroponic gardens are designed to enhance any living space. They not only produce hyper-local, crisp greens but have also successfully grown tomatoes and strawberries all year round. Beyond aesthetics, The Eden Project embodies sustainability, with a low carbon footprint, minimal operating costs, and a promise to reduce reliance on traditional grocery store chains.

These units are fun to grow in and look striking in the corner of your kitchen or living room as they pump out tasty fresh greens for your family. Of course these units have all the hallmarks of sustainable products such as low carbon footprint, minimal operating costs, no supply chain disruptions, recyclable and ethical but best of all, you get to save money on your grocery bills.

Is Eden going to save the world? No, that’s up to you. And with your help there is no telling where we go next.

To see the Earth rise, you have to think outside the planet.

Why The Eden and The Eboo & What You Get

The perks include The Eboo and The Eden at discounted prices but  there is also a chance for you to participate in our food bank program where we place and maintain The Eboo in food banks  starting in Guelph and eventually across Ontario. Can you imagine a couple of these units in every food bank, group home, women’s shelter, seniors centres and school cafeterias. We also have a hidden perk to be revealed in the middle of the campaign.

Here are a few reasons you’ll love this project!

  • We work with companies that want to do good. The Bamboo and Acacia housings are made in Vietnam by a family run business, a woman CEO and a farmer-empowering small company called Oceans Republic (check them out). They believe what we believe. Leave the planet better than we found it.
  • Our biggest expense is getting the housings here as we have to buy in volume or shipping is too expensive.
  • The other components are manufactured here in North America (LED lighting, pumps and connections).

Everything else is local so we can order on demand which allows us to start shipping soon after the campaign so you get your vertical garden faster.

We stand on the brink of turning groundbreaking prototypes into reality, armed with meticulously crafted CNC drawings and completed 3D software. With the necessary funds, we can propel these innovations into immediate production, poised to revolutionize tomorrow. The time to act is now, as our potential awaits swift transformation into tangible success.

Step into the forefront of innovation by backing The Eden Project, an unparalleled in-home aeroponic vertical garden unit. Your contribution becomes more than just an investment—it becomes a pivotal moment in shaping the future of urban living. With your support, we’re not only advancing production but also pioneering a movement towards sustainable, self-sufficient communities. Join us on this extraordinary journey, where your involvement is not just appreciated—it’s essential for us to thrive and make a lasting impact.

The Impact

While I won’t claim that The Eboo is the ultimate solution to save the world, consider this: what if it could make a meaningful impact? Here on the farm, we’ve ingrained a culture of recycling and leveraging our creativity to solve problems. Imagine if each of us takes a small, influential step that collectively contributes to a significant change, and then moves on to the next. The Eboo might just be the catalyst for a series of positive actions, creating a ripple effect that leads to a larger, more sustainable transformation in our world.

Risks & Challenges

Facing Challenges Head-On

Embarking on the journey to bring The Eden Project to life has been marked by challenges, yet our team is resolute in overcoming them. In the words of Dan Atkinson, “success is just getting up one more time than you fall,” and our team is prepared to confront any obstacles that may arise.

Embrace the pandemics, the supply chain disruptions, the unprecedented, the extraterrestrial, and the unknown. Together, we stand ready to face them head-on!

Other Ways You Can Help

Throughout my extensive tenure as a self-employed individual, there were occasions when I couldn’t provide financial assistance to others, but I consistently sought ways to contribute to causes I deeply care about, especially those related to the environment. If you resonate with the value of our efforts, there are alternative means through which you can assist us. Extend your support by spreading awareness about our journey within your circle of friends and community. Indiegogo provides user-friendly sharing tools to facilitate this. We invite you to become our advocates and share in our mission!
