Standard Operation

The HyperCube will blast out photons as soon as it’s plugged in. By default it will play patterns from the “Kaleidoscopic” mode, changing pattern every 60 seconds and generating new colors every 10 seconds. Manually change pattern with a single press of the button on the control box, and change mode with a double press, or fully customize the experience with our app.

Things are going to go much quicker this time around. Components for the next 1000 HyperCubes are already in production!

TimM O’Connor (left) received his PhD in NanoEngineering from UCSD, holds a master’s in Physics, and a BS focused on Business/Entrepreneurship. Dylan Lovinger (right) received his PhD in Physics from UCSD, for his work in ultrafast laser spectroscopy. We are now both full time hyper-engineers! The HyperCube project is a merger of everything we love: the physics of light, technology, and radical art. We’re doing this because we want to illuminate the world. To share the mesmerizing beauty that emerges from the marriage of art and technology.

We have also recently brought on a strategic advisor: Vince Kadlubek. Vince is the co-founder and board director of Meow Wolf, a radical events and entertainment group now expanding to 4 locations across the US and valued at over $500M. Vince will be helping us expand our brand and market to intergalactic reaches! In addition, we are working closely with other advisors who have years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, and crowdfunding.

This project is significantly de-risked. We already have a viable product that we’ve delivered to hundreds of customers. All we need now is to finish production of the parts for batch 2, and assemble/ship them to you.

However no project is without risk. We are now ramping up our production and moving to a new assembly factory that can support our growth, which always comes with challenges. We have worked with this company for some of our components, and we have full trust in their ability to expand production with us. We have already received excellent HyperCube samples from them. With the assistance of our professional advisors and their expansive network, and our own capacity for problem solving (especially after all we’ve learned over the last two years), we can guarantee that you will receive the product you backed!
