The production team of the DS9 documentary and For the Love of Spock now bring you the Voyager Doc!

Story

STRETCH GOALS

It’s been over 25 years since Voyager first got lost in the Delta Quadrant and took us all on an incredible seven-year journey. It is now time to revisit, celebrate, and fully explore what made this Star Trek series so special. The cast and crew of this groundbreaking show deserve the highest recognition, and with your help, we are going to make happen! .

455 Films is the production team behind beloved Star Trek-related documentaries, “What We Left Behind,” “For the Love of Spock,” “Chaos on the Bridge,” “The Captains,” The Captains Close Up,” “Still Kicking,” “Get a Life,” and now the upcoming Star Trek Voyager documentary

We are still in the early stages of production with more interviews and support footage yet to be filmed. Once that is complete, Post-Production expenses will need to be covered such as editing, music, animation, color-correction, sound mixing and CBS/Star Trek footage licensing. The more we raise on this Indiegogo campaign, the more creative ways we have of making this documentary unique

Zoom Virtual Experiences

Zoom Virtual Experiences are your chance to hang out, virtually, for about an hour with some of your favorite Star Trek actors and producers. Think of it as a virtual mini-convention, in which you and a dozen or two other fans hang out and listen to one of your favorites talk about their experiences on the show, their careers, their future aspirations and projects, etc.. This will be followed by a brief question and answer period – just like a convention panel!

  • First time using Zoom virtual audio/video calls? Not to worry! We will send you a tutorial as well as personally do a couple test calls and virtual tutorial sessions to get you acquainted! And then, you can use it anytime! Sign up is FREE.
  • Zoom Virtual Experiences will be fulfilled this Spring and Summer, beginning shortly after the campaign is over. Instant gratification!
  • These also make great gifts for anyone – especially people that you can’t visit personally.
  • None of these sessions with conflict with the others, so you can  claim as many as you’d like, and even claim the VIP pass to ALL of them with the “Zoom Admiral Level!”

Away Missions

Away Missions are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to see locations that were featured in Star Trek, wine and dine with members of the cast and crew, hang out with your favorite Star Trek actors in new places, and just go exploring with like-minded Trek fans!

  • All Away Missions will be fulfilled within roughly the same week, so you can plan an entire trip to Los Angeles around them. You can go to one or two, or can you spend the week in L.A. and go to all of them – it’s up to you! None of them conflict with the others, and we will do our best to plan them in successive days. (The Away Mission Admiral has all of them)
  • Away Missions will be fulfilled in the Spring of 2022. Planning for exact dates will begin later this year.
  • You can add a second, DISCOUNTED Away Mission add-on at check out. So when you see the “payment method,” be sure to scroll down and claim your plus-one!
  • Travel to LA and lodging are not included in the Away Missions.
  • If unforeseen circumstances, pandemics, or “Acts of God” should hinder or prevent certain details, we will adjust and adapt the event to the best of our ability.
  • All backers are welcome to join our donors-only Facebook group in which we will have discussion threads dedicated for all of you to plan your Away Missions with others – meet ups, carpools, hotel and travel plans, etc..! (We will send you the link to join.)

Away Mission #1 — Griffith Observatory and Bronson Caves

Visit the iconic Griffith Observatory from the Voyager episode, “Future’s End,” with TIM RUSS (Tuvok), GARRETT WANG (Harry Kim), and the producers of the documentary! Explore the location in the day, and do some star-gazing at night if you’d like!

Also included is an exploration of Bronson Caves (at Griffith Park), the site of SO MANY movies, Star Trek episodes, and the Batcave! The walking encyclopedia, “Dr. Trek” Larry Nemecek of “Trekland Treks,” will be your guide. CIRROC LOFTON (Jake Sisko) will be there to reminisce about his memorable Deep Space Nine episode, “Nor the Battle to the Strong” that was shot there.

Away Mission #2 — Starfleet Academy x2!

Visit the beautiful and serene Japanese Gardens at the Tillman water restoration plant with GARRETT WANG (Harry Kim), JEFFREY COMBS (Weyoun, Shran, Brunt, etc..), VAUGHN ARMSTRONG (Admiral Forrest and others), CIRROC LOFTON (Jake Sisko) and others! This location was used as Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Headquarters in FOUR Star Trek series — TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT! There we’ll celebrate our favorite Starfleet cadets like Nicholas Locarno (played by Robert Duncan McNeill) and Nog! Executive producer, David Zappone, Lolita Fatjo, and the rest of the production team will also be in attendance.

We’ll also take a moment to remember Aron Eisenberg (Nog) with his friends from DS9 and his podcast The 7th Rule, Cirroc Lofton and Ryan T. Husk. Aron’s wife, Malissa Longo, will hand out special Cadet Nog commemorative souvenirs that she designed for this event.

This will be followed by a quick ten-minute drive up to Cal State Northridge, which was the site used for Starfleet Academy in the 2009 Star Trek movie! It was also an alien world in a sci-fi series directed by Robert Duncan McNeill! Actor Rico E. Anderson, who played an alien in the series, will be joining in the fun as well.

Away Mission #3 — Vasquez Rocks

Meet up at the legendary and breath-taking Vasquez Rocks with DOMINIC KEATING (Malcolm Reed on Enterprise), CHASE MASTERSON (Leeta on DS9), and GARRETT WANG (Harry Kim)! MICHELLE HURD (Raffi) is also hoping to attend if her work/production schedule permits — after all, Raffi does LIVE at Vasquez Rocks!!

Take pictures, tell stories, and hang out at the site of some of the most iconic scenes in Star Trek history – like the famous/infamous Kirk-Gorn duel!

Later, we can all do a casual, local dinner in the area and show off our pictures (and upload them to social media)!

Away Mission #4 — A Star Trek Dinner

This “Away Mission” is more of a diplomatic mission. Spend the evening at an excellent Los Angeles restaurant with executive producer, David Zappone, TNG, DS9, and VOY’s Lolita Fatjo, and the rest of the production team, as well as  several legendary Star Trek actors – JAMES DARREN (Vic Fontaine), NICOLE DEBOER (Ezri Dax), CONNOR TRINNEER (Charles “Trip” Tucker), DOMINIC KEATING (Malcolm Reed), and maybe more!

You never know who else might pop up…

Away Mission #5 — Santa Monica Pier and The Getty Center

This BONUS Away Mission is included in the “Away Mission Admiral” package, and can also be claimed as an add-on to other Away Missions at checkout — so make sure to scroll down check for it when you see the “payment method.”

Meet up at the famous Santa Monica Pier, which is the site of several scenes in Voyager’s episode, “Future’s End.” Let “Dr. Trek” Larry Nemecek of “Trekland Treks,” be your guide, and have fun on the pier. Cotton candy, rides, sun, Star Trek talk — you’re going to love it!

The second half of this day is at the historic Getty Center, perched up in the Brentwood hills, overlooking Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. This was the site of many scenes in Star Trek Into Darkness. Your guide will be Ryan T. Husk, who acted in several of those scenes.

CHASE MASTERSON (Leeta in DS9) will be joining us at both locations!
