Tiny Village Cartagena is a 10 “Tiny Villa” boutique resort located less than a 10 minute boat ride from Cartagena’s city center. Here we’ve combined the best of what Cartagena has to offer — the beauty of its iconic Spanish Traditional Architecture, its legendary islands, and the infusion of its Caribbean culture!
Our story originated in December 2016 when our founder Akil King made his first trip to Cartagena. Captivated by the city’s architecture, beaches, and rich culture, Akil immediately fell in love with the city. During his time in Cartagena, Akil noticed that the other islands had their own distinct design and beauty, so he pondered how he could help more people experience this while visiting the islands. This is when the vision of Tiny Village Cartagena was born.
The project has spent the last 5 years in development and our vision has been to set a new standard for innovation, design and cultural and environmental awareness in hotel industry!
