INTRODUCTION

My name is Bruce Wayne Zelaya Jr., but most people know me as ‘CallMeChoko’ or just ‘Choko.’ I’m a comedian, actor, writer, producer, and performer—but above all, a proud father.. If my social media videos have made you laugh over the years, you’ve been a big part of what makes this journey so meaningful.

In 2015, I created the character Tio Choko, and now, 10 years later, this legendary persona has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. He’s brought joy and laughter to countless people. From social media to comedy stages, living rooms, weddings, quinceañeras, and TV screens, this journey has been humbling and meaningful, filled with challenges and remarkable memories—all thanks to you, my amazing fans!

Now, after 10 years of entertaining the world, it’s time to take things to the next level—something bigger, something better.

I’m thrilled to announce the upcoming film, Tio Choko: The Last Hope, the first-ever Tio Choko movie!

Here’s the story: 

A city ruled by eight ruthless mafia families descends into chaos when a high-stakes tournament is announced to crown the next leader. Desperate to protect their legacy, the struggling Moreno family turns to a mysterious cowboy with an iconic mustache—Tio Choko. Against all odds, Tio Choko enters the tournament to face eight brutal opponents, each deadlier than the last. As alliances shift and betrayals emerge, his foes soon realize they’re up against no ordinary warrior.

Get ready for an action-packed comedy adventure filled with laughs, intense showdowns, jaw-dropping twists, and heartfelt moments. When all hope seems lost, the city’s last hope is Tio Choko.

The Director And Cinematographer

I’ve poured so much into this project, and I’m thrilled to finally bring it to life with the incredible team at FILMATIC (filmaticcinema.com). These two gifted filmmaker brothers from Houston, Texas, are known for their passion and dedication, and I have no doubt they’ll make this vision a reality.  

Filmatic is a Houston-based production company founded by brothers Orlando Briones, a cinematographer, and Christian Briones, a writer/director. Born and raised in Acres Homes, Northside Houston, they have built a reputation for high-quality storytelling and visuals. With Orlando as Director of Photography, Filmatic has collaborated with major brands like Verizon, Sprint, Samsung, Jordan, Adidas, Honda, Dos Equis, Discovery, Netflix, and more.

How will the funding be used?

Reaching the funding goal for this campaign will make a huge difference in elevating the quality of the film. It will allow us to secure extra shooting days for the fight choreography and ensure that every aspect—from development and casting to stunts, costumes, locations, and dynamic fight scenes—comes together to create an epic action-comedy experience.

Additional Shoot Time – This campaign’s funding will give us the ability to add valuable days to our shooting schedule, enabling my team to film more setups and focus on perfecting the fight choreography with precision and care.

Cast & Crew – By achieving our fundraising goals, we can collaborate with an outstanding production crew and feature prominent actors in the film.

Equipment -This will allow us to invest in high-quality equipment, such as lenses and lighting, to enhance the film’s visual appeal. Whether it’s an intense fight scene or a moody night shot, we want every frame to shine.

Locations– These funds will allow us to book the best locations without worrying about prohibitive costs or time constraints. This flexibility will ensure every scene is shot to its fullest potential.

Music/Scoring – The funds raised will allow us to license the perfect music for the film. Music is a vital part of Tio Choko’s story, especially with his legendary dance moves. I want the audience to have fun and fully immerse in both the exciting highs and emotional lows of the movie.
