I am an American of Middle Eastern ethnicity and I grew up using a bidet when I go to the bathroom. I am now married with two kids and we are all used to using bidets so it’s a bit of a bummer when we travel and stay in hotels that never have bidets in the bathroom. Unfortunately, you can’t take a bidet with you when you travel, because you would have to tamper with the plumbing and remove the toilet seat if you wanted to use it in the hotel and hotels don’t want you doing that. 

I searched and searched and couldn’t find anything portable that gives you the same experience that you get with your home bidet on the road.

To solve this problem for myself and others, I invented the Travel Bidet Deluxe. 

First, I invented the Travel Bidet which is a toilet seat that has a built-in bidet and clamps directly to the toilet bowl eliminating the need to detach and reinstall the existing toilet seat. You simply lift the existing seat and install the Travel Bidet on the bowl with twisting clamps on either side. 

Next, we developed a water tank with a pump and battery to provide the water source, thereby eliminating the need to tamper with the plumbing.

Finally, we designed a carrying case that would pack the two units and make them easy to take with you during travel. 

The solution is the Travel Bidet Deluxe. A custom-designed carrying case that carries the Travel Bidet and the PumpTank for travel.

We have completed the product design stage and developed beautifully working prototypes.

We are conducting this campaign to finance and create the tooling necessary for manufacturing and mass production.

Tooling is estimated to cost approximately $170,000.
