Uncivil War: Bleeding Red, White and Blue

This is a TV competition reality show with two teams, pitting Red Team Republican Trump MAGAs versus Blue Team Democratic Anti-War Liberal Tree Huggers. There will be four to eight (TBD) members on each team. The objective of the show is to declare a final winner, from the red or the blue team. The real objective however is the teams will hopefully learn a lot about each other’s politics, views, opinions and ideas. And the ultimate objective is to engage the country in debate: the TV viewers will also learn a lot as well. This TV show can also easily transfer to other countries, so the potential is enormous.

The host will likely be a famous politically-neutral actor or comedian that is well-liked by all Americans.

After each round of competition, over one or more episodes, someone from each team will be kicked off the show based on a calculation involving competition scores and TV viewer online voting. For example, a calculation like 51 percent of their competition score and 49 percent based on TV viewer online voting. TV audience voting will greatly increase audience buy-in, viewership and engagement. This show will rapidly become a US phenomenon and highest rated TV show.

The teams will be randomly selected from different parts of the country based on online volunteer applicants and a series of pre-screening interviews and tests.

There will be multiple events/parts to the competition and the order events is to be determined:

Dinner Politics

There will be an initial Thanksgiving-like dinner where the teams will get to know each other, discuss politics and so on. Chances are there will be a lot of drama and it will end ugly.

Educational

Trivia type game show similar to Jeopardy and other “question and answer shows” with questions about US history, culture, society, geography, art, movies, literature, etc as well as general science, math, nature, biology, astronomy, sports questions and etc. For example, there will be a round called Fake News in which teams will have to decide whether a news story is fake or real. Other examples: Museum tour: name that artist. Name that animal. Name that sports team.

Paintball

Teams will compete in a classic team paintball competition.

Physical

Teams will compete similar to American gladiator or Tough Mudder. It could include things like shooting, swimming, obstacle course and etc.

City Survival

Teams will be dropped into a rough part of a neutral US city and have to survive 24 hours with no money, food, water or cell phone while competing in a treasure hunt.

Wilderness Survival

Teams will be required to survive a week in an untamed part of the US with just the bare necessities, which will require skills like hunting, fishing, building shelter, creating fire.

Kiss and Make up (Or not) Joint Survival

A final survivor from each the Red and Blue team will fly together, sit next to each other in coach class, to an unknown remote location, and spend a week together, will have to work together, surviving together, on a desert island or jungle or other challenging environment. Hopefully they (and the country) will learn something from each other.
