The campaign ultimately garnered $90,162k from 185 contributors, whose enthusiastic support has not only validated the market demand but also provided essential funding for the first production run.

Following the Kickstarter success, we have received interest from more individuals wishing to support the project. In response, we have launched an Indiegogo InDemand campaign. Indemand is a platform that allows companies to continue fundraising as they begin the manufacturing and delivery processes post a successful crowdfunding effort.

We are now offering S2/S2 PRO as an exclusive Indemand backer reward. Through this limited-time offer, nomadic workers can obtain the product at a reduced price from the MSRP, aiding in supporting the manufacturing kickoff. We aim to fulfill these Indemand backer rewards between July and August 2024, subsequent to satisfying our Kickstarter backers.

In the interim, we are working on finalizing the specifications for the first production run, acquiring component inventories, coordinating production arrangements with our factory, and preparing for the initial shipments of S2/S2 PRO. Quality in the making: Step inside the factory where our units are crafted. Our long-standing manufacturing partner, renowned for their precision and quality, has consistently exceeded our expectations, reinforcing our shared commitment to excellence. 

Every production batch undergoes rigorous quality control checks. The factory guarantees a return rate of less than 0.5%, thanks to meticulous quality inspections and a well-established process. The assembly process is designed to ensure the lowest possible error rate, utilizing simple yet effective technologies from our experience in product development.

Finally, we had the opportunity to test the product by conducting an accelerated aging test, minimizing any potential for unpleasant surprises as much as possible.

In early 2023, we began envisioning the S2/S2 PRO. Initially hesitant due to the presence of similar products on the market, we soon recognized that those offerings lacked certain elements we found essential. Motivated by our own needs, we proceeded with determination. The tooling has been fully paid for and completed. 

We’ve received, tested, and approved the initial off-tool samples, right before the Chinese New Year, and are now ready for mass production. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and our trusted manufacturing partner in China is prepared to begin large-scale production.
