The promoter and the motivation

Ram Sharma is an Engineer with Post Graduate degree in Business Administration, he is also an IT professional with hands on experience in programming. He has owned and operated number of companies in Singapore, India, Canada and Bangladesh. However he has always been passionate about creating new products and services and movies have been his weakness.

When COVID downed upon us, he wrote a book about War Elephants in ancient India. He was always fascinated with the elephants and how powerful, gentle and socially conscious they are. They are highly sensitive and caring animals. If a baby elephant complains, the entire family will rumble and go over to touch and caress it. Elephants express grief, joy, compassion, self-awareness, altruism, and play.  The book “Veer-the War Elephant” is available for sale on Amazon.

After receiving positive reviews from family and friends, he decided to make an animated feature film and using own funds he commissioned William Paul Minnaar of South Africa, a top  creative artist in 3D animation art, to create a trailer which is available on YouTube and other social media.

The animated film once completed with your help will be a masterpiece, so we believe. 

What we need?

We are aiming for $200,000.00 to complete the project and the funds will be used to assemble a team of 3D animation designers under the supervision of William Paul Minnaar, purchase software and hardware to meet the exacting demand of designing top rated animation. The designers will work virtually and no office space is envisaged. They will be hired based on their field of expertise alone.

As a small token of appreciation, we are offering perks to contributors as per details enclosed.

If we are unable to achieve our goal of $200,000.00, then we shall look for alternate source of funding but the project will go ahead nevertheless.

We believe that our project once completed will impress the lovers of animation films beyond belief and with your help we can achieve it.

If any of the contributors are developers, designers, creators who would like to share their talents with us, we shall be more than happy to discuss it. We want “Veer” to be a community effort as well. 

Risks & Challenges

We believe that we have overcome the initial challenge of captivating story line, character generation and motion designing. We still need more resources to hire additional designers to complete the project on time. The second challenge will be to distribute the film once completed. We have reached out to distributors in India, one of the largest market for animation films and the response has been encouraging. We do not have firm commitments for obvious reasons of not knowing the source of funds and completion date. Here we need your help here.
