Wheelchair accessible pontoon boat I’m building a custom boat for myself and to take veterans in wheelchairs fishing on the lower Fox River and the Chain o Lakes in Illinois.  Should this project be a success then we can provide other boats to other non-profits on other Lakes to take disabled veterans and disabled persons out on the water fishing.  These boats are unique because we incorporate a patented power retractable bow ramp onto our pontoon. this ramp allows access for power wheelchairs and has the power to lift someone out of the water also. Thus, making boating and the water accessible to everyone.  Your donation to boat #1 will be the just the beginning of making boating accessible!
