In Wasteland Raiders players must acquire experience points by killing enemies and completing quests. In the near future, Humanity has nearly destroyed our world. Our climate began to change swiftly and by the time we realized the danger it was too late. Coastal areas were flooded and ravaged by terrible storms. Inland regions grew dry and desolate from drought. Antibiotic resistance advanced beyond the control of medical science while epidemics killed millions. Natural resources we once took for granted dwindled rapidly. Wars broke out in every nation to fight over the scraps that were left. The bombs ravaged what cities were left standing. During this time a new technology was developed to save humanity but it was already too late. Civilization had ended. What is left of Humanity now huddles together in small settlements throughout the wastelands that are left behind.

 

 

Fire & Ash was an elite paramilitary EMS unit that had kept their cohesion throughout the fall of civilization. In the aftermath of those events, they attempted to create a new government and were betrayed. Only one person remains of the Fire & Ash unit and they now wander the wastes as a mercenary.
