XFly is the result of more than 50 years of flight research and development. Starting in the 1960s, when my grandfather and father created the first mechanical flying bird, the TIM.
Since a young age, I’ve proudly continued that tradition by training to be an expert aeronautical engineer and dedicating my life to learning, inventing and teaching everything about biomimetic aeronautic engineering. In 2014 I successfully crowdfunded Bionic Bird and delivered them to backers just 3 weeks later. It’s my pleasure to now continue sharing that passion with the world, with my most advanced project yet- the delightfully biomimetic XFly. 

The smart sensors we developed with the French Army Research & Development program provide remarkable flight assistance :  

• Straight flight: The sensors and electronics correct the natural imbalance of the drone and continuously adjust steering in real-time, ensuring a flawless flight experience, even in windy conditions. 
• Stall prevention: Our stall prevention system prevents the drone from a natural fall effect when oversteering and relieves the users from the need to make corrective adjustments.

In 2010, I embarked on a mission to create something extraordinary, something that could carry forward the legacy of TIM, a mechanical bird invented by both my father and grandfather back in the 1960s.

My journey began with a dream of creating an electrical bird that could mimic the intricate flight patterns of real flying creatures. Over the years, I honed my knowledge of flight patterns and embraced new drone technologies. This combination of expertise led to the creation of Avitron, which received the prestigious CONCOURS LEPINE gold medal, and then Bionic Bird and MetaFly which both carried cutting-edge technology improvements at their time.
