Crescenta Secures €2M Pre-Seed Round to Pave the Way for 2024 Fund Launch

Madrid-based digital fund manager Crescenta continues to make waves in Spain’s fintech scene, securing an additional €2 million in its pre-seed financing round, augmenting the previously announced €1.5 million last July. This latest injection propels Crescenta’s pre-seed funding to a staggering €3.5 million, marking a significant milestone as Spain’s largest pre-seed round within the fintech domain.

Notable investors such as KFund, FJ Labs, and All Iron Ventures, spearheaded by Ander Michelena, the visionary behind Ticketbis, have demonstrated their confidence in Crescenta’s disruptive approach to private equity investment. Michelena expressed his conviction in Crescenta, emphasizing its potential to revolutionize the private equity landscape: “A first-class team and a project with a strong innovative and technological character are the ingredients that we believe will make them go from pioneers to leaders.”

With the imminent market debut of its product, the freshly injected funds will be directed towards expanding the team and fortifying the brand. Crescenta has strategically appointed seasoned professionals in crucial domains like Investment, Marketing, and Investor Relations to drive its growth trajectory.

Ramiro Iglesias, Crescenta’s CEO, highlighted the significance of these strategic appointments, stating, “Having these profiles in the key strategic areas is essential to grow robustly and at the pace we expect in 2024. In the first quarter of next year alone, we expect to double our team with new recruits in strategic areas such as Operations, Marketing, and Investor Relations.”

Established in 2022, Crescenta operates as an Investment Service Management Company under the oversight of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). Co-founded by Eduardo Navarro and Ramiro Iglesias, the firm stands as a gateway for both professional and retail investors, offering digital access to premier national and international private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, private debt, and impact investment funds. Additionally, it furnishes clients with extensive educational resources on investment within this segment, advisory tools, and streamlined integration of bank accounts for faster and more secure subscriptions.

As Crescenta finalizes the intricacies of its product offerings, the firm eagerly anticipates unveiling its inaugural funds in January 2024. Ramiro Iglesias expressed gratitude for the faith placed in Crescenta, stating, “We are very satisfied with the product offering that we have configured and that will soon be available to investors after months of dedicated work.”
